I drove through Utah once. Some little town I went through had one of those reduced speed limit when the light is flashing speed traps. I got pulled over, issued a ticket, got out of the car, walked up to a window 10 feet away and paid the fine.

Yeah, glass packs were a must have! Nothing sweeter than the rumble of a 400 cubic inch big block through glass packs. I can feel it in my chest just thinkin' 'bout it.

Cali state law (not that Ryker is the law-abiding type) gives you I think 20 days after moving there to get in-state plates. And a license too. And if your plates and license are from different non-Cali states that's ANOTHER ticket (the "3 states law"- eyeroll). When you move there all your dollars now belong to Cali essentially. That's the same in a LOT of states. It's also basically not enforced at all, as it's pretty hard to prove in a traffic stop type situation.

Nah, if your ride looks like that they know you can't pay the fine so, they don't bother... Unless you are sitting in it parked outside a convenience store or a bank... then they assume it's a robbery in progress.

Got a speeding ticket in AZ once, right after pulling off of base, while driving an 89 GMC Suburban it was 2010ish, literally seconds before the siren went on a brand new bright red Ford F150 blew past me going about 20 faster than the 5 over I was doing... cops are dicks.

Speaking of corrupt cops it will be interesting to see how the Rogues/(insert whatever you named your MC here) deal with them. Will they come into play before the end or will they be dealt with in chapter two?

P.S. Yea, Tiger, depends on the county/city as well. The Phoenix Metropolitan area is especially nuts. I have been pulled over in all the major cities of Maricopa County (Phoenix, Tempe, Peoria, Glendale, Scottsdale, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa) and what I have found is that none of them are consistent nor alike but you're more than likely to come across decent cops that will let you off with a warning in Mesa, Tempe, Phoenix while Gilbert, Chandler you'll come across decent judges who will look for lesser charges and dismiss the bullshit one's the cops add. My advice is NEVER get pulled over in Scottsdale ever. Bunch of self righteous pricks. If we were in The Outsiders they are the epitome of Soc's while the rest of Arizona are greaser's.

Got a ticket as a brand new driver, literally about 200yds from my house, cause in that same 89 suburban, I didn't realize I wasn't turning the headlights on all the way, just thought they sucked. Cop pulled me over, ticketed me, then followed me to my house. Instead of just explaining the error of my ways.

All my speeding tickets were in Tucson... can you even get a speeding ticket in Phoenix?

oh yeah it was a piece of shit. Rusted a lot even though it was in a garage. Rear engine, not enough radiator in the front, so overheated all the time. Going up a large hill? Good luck, you really had to push it to get enough momentum. Stuck in traffic in the summer? Good luck, it will cook itself alive. Granted, back then it wasn't as bad but some tourist destinations still had traffic jams.

Ah, yes. I remember this masterpiece of enginering. My father had it for a time. Because engine was in front but had RWD it was difficult to drive up the hill. To resolve this problem he always had few paving slabs in the trunk.
