Yep, not a lot of radscorpions or deathclaws either... There are, however, bears in the Anchorage area.I don't recall any invisible walls in the Vegas desert.

And the Operation: Anchorage map bears No relationship to anything I recall in that area.

I play New Vegas on a mac, so can't really help ya.I wonder if the original game runs on windows 11?
best bet is probably to use something like DOSBox for the OG game. You guys are making me nostalgic... I wonder if the original game runs on windows 11? There's probably a remastered version floatin' around the internet somewhere...
Thanks, El. That might be a fun weekend project.best bet is probably to use something like DOSBox for the OG game.
no prob, I play old games quite often, and lemme tell ya sometimes it's a pain the ass to get them to run on modern systems haha. Last time I was 20+ hours or so into one of them and ran into a bug that crashed the game, and while I'm pretty good at google-fu I couldn't figure that shit out, was really pissed about it.Thanks, El. That might be a fun weekend project.
You leaving out Baldur's Gate hurts my heart. The only other series that I think rivals Fallout is Mass Effect... and that coming from an Elder Scrolls fan.
GOG.com, or Steam both have copies that work on modern hardware. The GOG version probably has dosbox built in, that's how a lot of their older games work. You guys are making me nostalgic... I wonder if the original game runs on windows 11? There's probably a remastered version floatin' around the internet somewhere...
And The Witcher hurts mine... also Dragon Age... ah well...You leaving out Baldur's Gate hurts my heart.
I keep telling myself that one day I'll finish maxing my Bowazon's level - she's lv88 IIRC. But it's been decades, I probs won't.Strangely, I never got along with Diablo...
We could try an experiment... maybe...Any compressed version?
My bad. I have played all the Baldur's Gate series too. It's and awesome RPG.You leaving out Baldur's Gate hurts my heart.
I shouldn't... I really shouldn't tell on myself... As I said earlier, I have over 15,000 hours playing FO4... My version is heavily modded but I have two rules for myself. 1) No cheats 2) When you die you're dead. Start the cycle of life over again... I know every nook and cranny of the map and I have several very high level characters. Here's the tell on myself part - I am yet to see the ending for the main questline. I not only haven't seen it but, I don't know what it is and don't you dare spoiler it. I'm at the point of believing that when I finally finish that game I'll likely die the next day because I will have seen it all. Of course, now... Now I have the Long Road Home to keep me going. Which means I might live forever.I keep telling myself that one day finish maxing my Bowazon's level - she's lv88 IIRC. But it's been decades, I probs won't.
I can't spoil it for you bc I never played it - 1,2, Tactics, 3 & NV and done.As I said earlier, I have over 15,000 hours playing FO4...
