To be straight forward, I'm really not in a hurry to port the alpha version to Ren'Py for these reasons:

1. I've been helping other devs with their games
2. I hate redoing code that gets changed between alpha and full version
3. Ann and Vanessa's mom content

Well.. I'll likely start on it whenever TTrick's version is out of alpha. Depending on the amount of content at that point... could be a month or so.

This version has a gallery unlocker and like it says is a port. This version also has a built-in walkthrough I believe.

What's the point of this Ren'Py port?
I started this Ren'Py port of Long Story Short mid-February 2022, with TTrick's full support. My goal was to learn Ren'Py, which I feel I've accomplished. I do this in my spare time out of love for the game.

What's the difference between the Ren'Py Port and the official version?

• Is Ren'Py (official game has some, but not all Ren'Py features/functionalities)
• Built-in Gallery/Scene replay (official game now has this)
• Built-in Gallery/Scene unlocker
• Built-in walkthrough (supposedly coming to the official version at some point)
• Has android
• Dialogue improvements (maybe subjective here) and dialogue flavor (customized dialogue for Emily based on how you set her relationship to the MC)
• Has the same scenes/story as the original. If you're happy with the original, no need to download this.

Versioning: The Ren'Py port will have the version number that matches the content available for that version from the official game. The build number indicates any changes I make to the Ren'Py port, whether it's new content, bug fixes, or improvements that are not relevant to the official game.

"Other" is a modified Electron engine game, which can be played by almost anything.
