That's not mod, it just shows you the path you're following. The Dev should focus on making only 2 paths #1 cuck #2 romance

What does it matter if it's mod or not? I'm the developerr of this Ren'Py port of Long Story Short. It shows you how to get on each path (Vanessa blackmail, Joe Rival, Ann Hate, Ann GF, etc.) and then shows you how to get different scenes on each path.
I'm open to suggestions if there's things you think aren't more obvious, but it does point out how to get specific scenes.

Maybe you should let the dev do what he is doing (perfectly well imo) and you just either play or move on...rather than telling someone far more more experienced than yourself...what they should be doing?

You're not supposed to get all paths in one playthrough, hence you missing 70% of content. If you don't like that, well this game ain't for you.

What's the purpose of "Alpha" points and "Ann corruption" points? I know there must be a check somewhere but, so far, I couldn't find any difference. It seems that the only important choice is telling Ann to change. Unfortunately, once she goes down that road, she soon spirals out of control and goes for the total corruption route, even if one tries to keep her corruption points to the minimum. Any idea?

Alpha points really only change some dialogues. TTrick might even choose to remove that at some point.
Corruption points are used in various places. For one, if corruption is > 7, it will change which outfit she wears in certain scenes. For Ann to be fully corrupted, these are the conditions:
Ann Corruption greater than or equal to 9
OR
Tell Ann she should change AND Ann Corruption > 4
