don't try autoupdater on computer versions (that isn't allowed or wasn't some years ago).

The updater is not available for Mac and on PC it's user choice whether to check for updates or not. I always provide full downloads for Mac and PC here. We're talking specifically for Android, which has a size limit that I am approaching (1.7/2 GB). The Ren'Py updater/downloader is really the only option to continue to provide updates once the limit is reached without dropping the quality of images and videos so low (and I did it ahead of time to ensure I had something working before it was too late).
But the reality is, if it just becomes too much of a hassle to deal with, I can stop providing links here and offer elsewhere, or just stop supporting the project.

Thanks, ill check that. Yeah I use mac. So I usually download the PC version and move the folder to Renpy. It works like charm usually. No need to wait for Mac port and games are better organized that way under the native Renpy app. I probably have to update my Renpy I guess.Wait, what?! Is this for real?
Did he seriously put your py2 port version of the game into a Ren'Py version with py3 and comes now running to you with complains about errors? Did i get this right?
(Well, i guess he wanted a MAC version and put it in a Ren`Py SDK for it, but in the wrong version. Just a wild one...could be a DL somewhere.)

The reason it's different in this case is that I actually do python coding in this game, whereas many devs simply use Ren'Py variables and other simple things like that.
In this case, you would need to use an older version of Ren'Py (7.7), not an upgraded version.

The Jenny scene is the only new scene TTrick added to this version, so... 68 renders, 8 animations for that.
Then he added roughly 30 animations to Ann's motel scene.

I mean it was said why, and 8 months? Maybe play the other version then....
v0.9 was not going to be a full-blown update and it was known for months. v0.9a was the alpha which was the update, during that time he was getting it ready for Steam release, fixing it, adding music and other things. v0.9 is the Steam release.

A good portion of the time was spent on getting the game ready for Steam, finding and integrating music, writing the code to handle the music, etc. I didn't start updating the Ren'Py port until TTrick had his official game out and code ready, which wasn't all that long ago. The official game was released on Steam on 24 Oct.

You're a hero! Here's a few improvments if you want:
1 - The scene gallery does't seem to be updated. Can't find last Emily scenes for ex.
2 - Walktrhough give stats information, but not Routes branchs. Could be usefull to make multiple routes plays...
3 - Multiple Error screens but still playable by (ignoring) a couple of frames).

Ryahn was wrong. Wasn't a back track though Ryahn just didn't know and thought it was fine to begin with.

It looks like you're using Joiplay? You need to use the correct version of Joiplay for the version of Ren'Py this game is on. LSS Ren'Py port is on Ren'Py 7.7.1, but the version of Joiplay you're using is for Ren'Py 8+

The routes are determined early on in the game, but I include the text when there are branching points.
Yeah, someone else reported some but if you know of others that they didn't report in the thread already, it's helpful to give me more information/screenshots.
Because the dev of the official game never intended to have them. I'm not going to implement them in the port unless he does in his game.
If you're referring to a closed report message, I never got one. Not even alert saying it was resolved. From my days as a XenForo admin way back in the day, I thought I remember having to check a box to send a message. Could be misremembering, though.

Yeah double checked it. I send it. Sadly in like 99% its fine but sometimes it will just not send the alert for what ever reason.
