I mean im pretty sure it was said it wasn't going to be a proper update just adding some scenes and was mostly a steam update. Kind of your fault if you had higher expectations if you knew about this info beforehand.
Which region even have such a low prices lol?Only ~3 usd in my country, so its my second purchase of this kind after scumverse

Maybe it was just translation difficulties and I misunderstood what was written earlier about new content. I was just waiting for at least a couple of new scenes for routes that were specified earlier and no more, but I hope that the release in Steam will be successful and updates will be at least a little faster than usual....

Speaking of which, am I the only one who found the transition from Ann's hate route to 0.9 content a bit abrupt, here she's trying to MC jealousy, and the next scene is how she goes to his house and the motel scene follows. Wouldn't it be logical to see this scene by private messages on the phone (like how it was done as Ann alone going to Chris' house to watch a movie?). So one of those guys was behind the camera and Ann sent us pictures, thus trying to make the MC jealous?
guys we have to accept that the dev is officially on track to abandoning the game, a steam release before the game is finished? this will just slow down development time and add nothing. Imagine what a proper new update will take at this rythm. I am not a patreon supporter, so to me it doesen't change anything, but i think that patreons should message him about this, to hopeully make him change track before the game gets abandoned after 1 year of billing. Again, i have no stake in this, but i do think that a wakeup call is in order, of course without foul language or hate.

You'll need to support that claim with some evidence. There are a lot of AVNs on Steam, many in "Early Release" or otherwise unfinished. Like it or not, it's become a standard practice and is not indicative of being cancelled, as far as I can see. The goal is generally to create an additional revenue stream for the game so that it is more likely to be finished, not less. Take Being a DIK, for example. Long Story Short is more niche in its kinks, so is unlikely to become that popular, but TTrick seems committed to finishing it. He's also a dev who regularly suspends his Patreon subscribers' payments in months when he's focused on work other than game development.

So steam release finally... nice... as always steam local currency exchange is f*** for my country, thankfully only $1.36 more this time... guess I will have to buy it... I mean... even if somehow it will not be finished (as someone were doomposting up there), I enjoyed it so far and the fun was worth that $9.99... em... $11,35.

I admit to being slightly disappointed. I haven't really kept up to date with the announcements, only heard that the Rival and Hate routes would get caught up to the rest. I wasn't expecting much—maybe one or two new scenes on those routes, as they had the least amount of content. Unfortunately, they have nothing new, just the same as the other routes. They were more divergent at first, but feel much more streamlined now. Nothing has transpired in-game that differentiates and drives them forward in a long time. You actually forget you're on a different route because the scenes are more or less the same.
I can't comment on the music or achievements because I always mute these games, listen to my own music, and don't waste time on achievement hunting.
Tbh, it's mostly my own fault for not managing my expectations based on available information. But with the steam business now over, I remain optimistic about the future development.

It's a non-update so you'll be better off waiting - see ya in 7months!
So there won't be any update this month? I thought dev is working on new update along with steam release

The Steam version is the same as V0.9a, but it includes the missing animations, new Jenny scenes, and the two paths (Joe rival and Ann hate) that were paused at the start of V0.7.

Listen if you expect an update and you are disappointed to find out that nothing has been updated, according to some uber-fans here it's you're own fault for believing it to be an update in the 1st place.

I really like the dev and wanted to support him(Still a student, so can't subscribe to patron). So i bought the game thinking it also contains new update(excluding above few scenes). why does it took 7 months for just for a few scenes. Now, I am in dillema about my purchase, not due to current update but i think at this pace of updates, it will be abandoned soon.
It's not that i am dissapointed about the update rather it is about the pace of updates, I agree that it takes a lot of time to make sure everything is good to release on steam but the game is set to be released on steam since at least a year and yet he took 7 months to release the same old v0.9 with few additional scenes.
