Don't overthink it. Our hate for Ann is based mainly on two reasons that have already been mentioned:

1- She's by BY FAR the ugliest model in the whole game. Her whole body has weird proportions, with a disproportionately big head in an underdeveloped childish body. She's been compared to a china doll, a bobblehead or a funko doll, all of which are accurate. For us, Emily, Alex, Jenny, Amber, the old dude's granddaughter, Ann's roommate, Vanessa, Vanessa's mom, the girl from the toilet scene, the girl from the library, even Mery if it wasn't for the venereal diseases, are all much more attractive than Ann. BY FAR.

2- Despite the fact that she's BY FAR the least attractive female in the game, she's always got way more sceen time than any other except Vanessa, who's had just a bit less than her. Our favourite girls being sidelined for years in favour of someone we find an abomination has aroused all that hatred. Simple as that.

It doesn't have to do with how ridiculously retarded she behaves in the corruption route. Retarded behaviours are all we see in this game when it comes to corruption, so if that was the reason we'd be hating every main LI. Well, every LI but Alex and Jenny and just because they haven't had the time yet to be corrupted. Give it time. Case in point: my favourite character, Emily, has fallen into the same absurd trend. The build-up with her feels ridiculous, as does that scene with Joe.

I agree with your takes regarding her behavior in the corruption route. Hard disagree on looks. To me she only loses to Amber, Kim, Angela and maybe Emily by a little bit. And she's about tied with Merry. I find large breasts, hips, asses and thighs extremely unaesthetic. I wouldn't touch Van's mom, Alex or Jenny with a ten-foot pole. I'm conflicted about Van because I really like her face but everything else is .

Different strokes for different folks I really like Ann and I fully intend to keep her uncorrupted version as the MC's gf for the entire duration of my main playthrough.

Her body is fine by me, that's not the issue. I generally prefer more petite builds too, but it's everything from the neck up - the oversized noggin and the 'trying to be cute but looks like a nerdy girl slathering on makeup' hmmm i think i just figured out why others find her appealing (i still dont)

I find it hard to like Ann when every other female character looks better than her. Even the trashy bar skanks are more attractive. I know she's meant to be naive and homely in her normal route, but she actually looks way worse in her corruption route.

And anybody else encounter a bug with Ann's insta? Her post with Ivy disappears and reappears later.

Ann's looks don't bother me too much, her proportions are off but it's whatever. What does bother me is she is BORING. Like within the first three updates or so of the game slut mode was instantly unlocked. No build up, no gradual change, just one day she's a nerd, the next day she shows up to your house full on slut mode down for whatever. She has no personality, no mind of her own, she might as well just be a real doll given life. All the other LIs are at least interesting or have SOMETHING about them the only thing interesting about Ann is what WON'T she put in her pussy and given she gets a scene every single update we still haven't found the answer to that question yet.

She's overexposed, we're not given a chance to miss her cause she never goes the fuck away. Even if you reject she is still around all the fucking time.
