i don't care what you see in promotional images for a forum. ann was the first girl you get a date with, and the game makes pretty clear she's really the only one who's intended as an actual love interest. you can get vanessa to cheat on joe or dump him, you can get your sister/roommate to play with you, you can give a pity date to alex (i guess if you twist my arm lol, sarcasm, she's hot), but NONE of those imply replacing ann as the main path in the game or even hint at that. none of that implies a full-fledged love interest. everyone else is extra, and has been from day one.

If you noticed, Alex, Emily, and Jenny have all been getting something since about v8. It's just more of a slow burn with them, unfortunately.
The only thing he's not doing is slowing down progress with Ann/Van to allow the others to catch up. This does not mean they aren't main LIs.
like I said, everything else is extra. I'm not saying we won't GET any other options, but there's a clear reason Ann (and Vanessa) are getting so much and that's that they are the first choices you get and it's weird not to expect them to be the main paths. You're right that rejecting Ann was an option from the start, but then that implied a Vanessa path. So yes, maybe I should have said Ann AND Vanessa were clearly the focus from the start. Everything else is a bonus we should be thankful for. I'm GLAD we'll get endings for every one of the girls, and will try all the paths, but people need to calibrate their enthusiasm (lol) and expectations and be HAPPY for everything we get rather than be disappointed at not having something in an update that in reality was a bonus anyways. Very generous dev, and we eating good.

There should be an option to completely ditch following characters one doesn't like. Eg. I only like Emily in this game, but I have to waste time and grind thru events centered upon characters I find boring (Vanessa, Ann, Alex...) to get to Emily. Emily deserves her own game, consider creating a spin off. I mean, Vanessa is a highly predictable nimphomaniac, Ann is a nerd gone bad, still boring, Alex is a very typical exhibitionist Insta-whore, only Emily is an authentic, surprising character.
