Give me a good story, with deep characters that show growth as the story plays out. The max number of girls that a game should have is 4 maybe 5, any more and the story starts to suffer, unless the dev is very good, or has a big team behind him.

I love Ann, the story should revolve around her and the mc relationship. Its kinky, it's depraved, while it does feel rushed at times, it feels more natural than 90% of the relationships depicted in games on this site. Look up Grandma's house for a game where there is an absurd amount of women, with paper-thin personalities.

I think games have too many women most of the time. I mean look at Merry she is just there for sex scenes. I think five main girls like this has is the sweet spot.

A good writer is a good writer, whether there is one girl or many. Case in point, Mastering the Pink Box.

Isn't too many defined by how long the story goes? Longer the story goes, more LI's can be organically accommodated. There are a lot that have 4 or 5 but these tend to be shorter than I would like in terms of story.

I definitely agree I want them to all or at least most of them to be well developed and introduced but 8 is the sweet spot because I like there to be a web of evolving dynamics between everyone rather than MC mostly on 8 different island for each girl or simple reverse gangbangs. Beyond 8 the exponentiality historically gets unwieldy. But again, a longer story could handle it better.

I also enjoy deep characters with growth, and ann isn't deep. She's a caricature of the 'innocent shy girl who gets corrupted', and once we reach that point there's no real development.

The first few chapters of ann and mc's relationship were indeed quite good and organic - her being timid and awkward, responding negatively if MC pushed her too far. Those days are long gone.

Your entire post is the definition of a strawman; since I want the neglected characters (Alex/Emily/Jenny) to get even a QUARTER of the focus ann has gotten, obviously, I must want an absurd amount of LIs with paper thin personalities. Obviously, my post was a bit of hyperbole, ann doesn't need to be removed from game - she just needs to be sidelined for a bit while others catch up.

if you want to know what the game has, not what people like about it should probably ignore any response that contains words or opinion like "best"

there is plenty of content where ntr is avoidable, not just skippable, it simply doesnt happen in that branch. there is even a branch you can take where MC doesnt have a girlfriend but fucks every girl so far lewdable. netorare content is minimal compared to all the content the game has, though there is a fair amount of netorase, and most of that is messing around with MC's friends girl in some way. but that is avoidable as well. the trouble comes down to netori. a lot of content falls in line with that. the story plot is heavy on the MC spending time with his best friends girl. she attempts to hook him up with Ann as well as tries to get him to fuck anything that moves. in one branch she becomes his sub in a way, where he tells her wether or not she can masturbate or fuck other people and she actually listens, she becomes super aroused about it all and basically rolls around his bed room floor begging for his cock. just an example. now at this branch and time the girl and the best friend have broken up, but still lots of netori feel like content in the game. so if that bothers you may be a problem

Sorry, your example is off, GH is a wholehearted comedy/parody, and this one is a complete other genre, I agree, with ProGamerJohnny, that specially Ann's character, which has the most potential for a in deep development, is very thin, and as youself pointed out, rushed.
All other 4 girls have more depth than her.

cheated on? Yes, it's clear, it's hard to get to anyway unless you know the specific path.

If you're against any kind of seeing characters having sex with characters other than the MC, i would find something else to play. While i guess technically you could avoid most of it I'd probably be forgetting something like when mc stumbles across his friend and his friend's girlfriend having sex, stuff like that.

So far, you can have a route where MC and Ann are together without either of them engaging in sex with other people. You can even get that without disabling the "lack of control" option, but simply through choices you make in the game. But if you want to be sure then yes, there's also switches you can turn off at the start of the game which block that content.
