tbh I don't even like Jenny and Alex for their looks. I haven't played in a few updates but I just really enjoyed the Jenny date and as far Alex I liked the little bit I got to know about her so I like Alex for her character. If im being honest it's rare for me to care about a character's looks as I don't put much value in looks. Tho I will say Emily does fall into I like her only for her look looks as I don't feel like I know enough about her. Vanessa is one I like her looks but dislike her character the most.
Fair! I mean I hated Vanessa at the start too because shes a bitch and a whore. But eventually I warmed up to her. She's pretty and fun even if a little crazy. As the MC's fuck buddy I think she's fine. Not someone I would ever consider dating.

Alex seems shallow and I hate the whole social media hoe she's got going on. That's the biggest turnoff for me. She isn't pretty nor particularly hot to me. Jenny though is pretty and has the type of personality I like but her body just isn't for me at all.

Ann is right in the middle. She's kinda pretty in a cutesy kind of way. Short but the body is fine. On the pure gf route I like her.

Emily is just the GOAT! She's hot, fun, pretty with a nice personality. But once again I'll say that, other than Emily, the real gold in LSS to me, are the side girls. I really, really liked Angela, Amber and Kim.

I thought that at first about Alex but I don't think she is Shallow at all anymore. I forget the context of the conversation until I replay the game. But there was one conversation that actually made me feel bad for her and to me it felt like she had some real character deveolopment. She went from someone who I think is slutty , swallow and probably a bit stuck up to feeling just like a normal girl with problems and uses her insta or whatever because it's how she knows how to deal with those issues and feel good about her self.

Now this could all change when I replay the game and catch up on the updates I missed. But for me her and Jenny both feel like GF material for me moreso Jenny tho. Alex depends on how much she values her social media career once she is in a real relationship but I see the potential for GF material. tbh those are the only 2 in the game I would date. Ann I did not like her GF path my first time it felt to fast for me I felt wanting to know her better from what I remember.

I'm really getting sick of envious people deciding a dev is milking their supporters.

1. Supporters might be supporting the dev themselves, irrespective of the product, or the schedule of releases.

2. When it comes to any artistic product there are both consumers and patrons.

3. People are free to cancel at any time. The Dev isn't holding a gun to their head.

4. High quality product deserves to be rewarded because it incentivises more high quality work.

5. People unable to create these games may feel it's easy for the devs to knock out lots of renders and code.
They're wrong.

6. Game development cannot be sustained in factory hours. It reduces the quality of the product. I've seen devs force thru
poor quality updates. Or even worse, try to please everyone.

7. The Dev does not owe anything to the Veruca Salts of this World. Who want it all and want it now.
They're the least desirable consumers of any product. They want other people to work to their needs.
The reason you see this so often is a psychological phenomenon called "Cognitive Dissonance". Basically, when someone's attitude does not align with their behavior, it creates this uncomfortable feeling called cognitive dissonance. To get rid of it (or to avoid it preemptively), either the attitude or the behavior has to change to be in alignment. If one's attitude is that these Devs are working hard and investing a lot to put out these games, but one's behavior is to take it without compensating them, something's got to give. The weak-minded, Incel-adherent cretins that you see constantly bitching that Devs are trying to rip them off are alleviating their cognitive dissonance by changing their attitude to one that aligns with their behavior: believing they are just taking advantage of people that are trying to take advantage of them first. Same kind of people who decide it's a women's fault that the guys' behavior doesn't get him in her pants.
It makes me sad for humanity.

If people are being 'milked' that is their fault. There is an unsubscribe button in plain view on Patreon.
I'll never get this. if a dev is being a dick, deciding they want vacations and to complain or.... frankly... anything i disagree with. I unsubscribe from financially supporting them. It's my choice to support. or not.... and then to talk about it on a piracy website where the products are free

I'm sorry, but I seriously just don't understand. Can someone explain the appeal of Vanessa? I honestly would rate her as the least attractive girl in this game. Granted she's above average on looks, but is her appeal simply being a shameless slut? I just don't see why so many people worship her.

im with you there. While I do think Vanessa is hot she everyone else is hotter to me and just her personality and the way she acts makes me not want to be around her at all , which is why my first time I played this game I said no everytime she tried to have sex with the MC

I speak solely for myself, but I find her fun. I honestly don't care for the archetype. I find it off-putting, which is why I avoid it in other games. And is why I completely sidestepped her for Ann. But despite what I thought was going to be an easy layup. Ann's vanilla route was rather disappointing. And after trying different choice combos on Ann's route, while still ignoring Vanessa. I eventually just said fuck it! and gave her a go. Either that or just give up the game.

And idk, she just grew on me. The path I wanted was dry. The path I didn't care for ended up being more interesting. There also seems to be something underneath all the whoredom she engages in. So I find myself curious if anything will be done with it. Also helps that you can choose to make her your personal whore. Instead of allowing her to just be all over everyone.

Vanessa is the most fun, and it's true that she is a little aggressive and even disgusting with the character at the beginning, depending on the way you choose to deal with her. She is without a doubt the most honest character with the MC and with Joe. She makes it clear that she is a slut and wants to experience everything she can while she is young, and there is a reason why she acts like this, and she wants a partner, who can be a willing cuckold or a slutty partner, and she is the one who shows the most concern and respect for the MC's feelings.
Ann, for me, is much more of a slut than Vanessa, she just doesn't have the courage to admit it. She's the false saint. In the corruption route, the only influence is the MC giving support at the beginning. Then she does everything alone. In the sharing, even Cris and Vanessa are surprised by the change. I can't see that she really likes the MC, but Joe is for Vanessa. Even in the non-corrupt route, she's more worried about Cris and if she doesn't share, she always has a commitment, so much so that the MC spends more time with Vanessa than with her.

I actually don't like her looks that much, but she probably is the funniest and most fun character in the game! Of course she hides a deeply insecure persona that the MC could get to unravel (or is that too trite?) but at least it'll be fun to uncover.

Definitely brings another rhythm to the game and helps develop other characters too.

Who think Vanessa is overrated??
  1. Agree
  2. Don't agree
  3. Chris is the best
2) Vanessa drives the story forward, for better or worse. ANN is the overrated one, and the one that's gotten the lion's share of screentime at the cost of characters I love like Emily, Alex, Jenny.

Notice with the way the forking works, Vanessa's events aren't at the cost of others. In the recent update-her thing was tied towards getting Emily the job at the bar, etc. I guess one could say the same for Ann--->alex but that's had a glacial pace.

Whereas the number of Ann events that do nothing for the rest of the story progression is mindblowing, the whole amusement park segment, the "actress" trip, hotel stay, etcetc.
