It's got 23 animations that aren't in the current public version. Plus it adds a replay/image gallery. Might not be new story but it's definitely got something new.

What do you mean? The released version is V0.8.3a. Which is an alpha build. Alpha. Not even beta. There is no "full update".
$5 i think, that is what subscribestar suggests.
