It's been explained a dozen times what is in it, I even added the changelog and the changelog is in the OP people can read. For those who are not subscribers I just want to let you know that he did this update in order to get his game in Steam, while also working on the update, so the real update is not out yet, this was mainly a form and way to have be part of the Steam store.
First off, it didn't take 7 months. He paused payments for subscribers during times where his IRL job got too busy. Apart from that, getting on Steam is a lot of work. I can't emphasize that enough. Since I helped him a lot with getting ready for that, I can say so just from that experience.
As I've mentioned previously in this thread, he was also spending time looking for music that he can legally include in the game. While there's a lot of places to get music, a lot of them do not allow the music to be used in adult games. He also had to create the ability for his engine to handle music. He had to come up with achievements for Steam and then implement Steam's API for handling that.
There was also a lot of testing going on with Steam. It's not like Patreon or SS where you just zip up the game and post a link. It's more involved.
The game is not going to be abandoned. Not sure why people would come to that conclusion just because releases take a while. He posts on Patreon and SS and is active on his discord. And if you bought on Steam or Itch, you're getting all future updates for free. Not really a bad deal.
yeah some people just don't readIt's been explained a dozen times what is in it, I even added the changelog and the changelog is in the OP people can read.
Because mistakes, it doesn't...(but others have said it can played via Joiplay)Why is android listed as os but no android update link?!!
The game is available on Steam for those who prefer a one-time payment.Well, looks like milking patreons mode is up on this one
Also, it is for sale on Itch.ioThe game is available on Steam for those who prefer a one-time payment.
For the content already available, I think the price charged is quite fair.
Steam version.I've downloaded two different versions and in both the main file is main.91a67b8b, which doesn't match either of these.
Playing kinda fast and loose with the word "update" LOLI was surprised there was an update this soon ( until I found out it was nothing new). This is one of those once a year update games usually.
You're not worth. Only boring comments.Update not worth. Only boring scenes.
Final update for 0.9. He will start work on 0.10 next.Final? why final? beta´s final?
sounds like you should make a game and put it on steam to find out. There its clearly more behind the scenes things besides adding music and achievements. I'd be surprised if he works full time as well most devs don'tSo putting in steam achievements and music took how many months? Forgive me if I dont believe this is more then a months worth of work tops. Other games have done it and it is almost never included as a part of the regular update schedule, there's almost always an actual update to go along with it.
I'd be okay with it if this was a short update to go along with some normal update that was still being worked on but there's literally been no progress if I'm understanding right. So that's another 7 months or a year and half in total before we get anything new?
I clearly based my opinion on how long it takes for other games to get on stream. Like I went through the standard update process for most other games and compared it to this. I only mentioned music and achievements because that was the two examples given as to why it took so long.sounds like you should make a game and put it on steam to find out. There its clearly more behind the scenes things besides adding music and achievements. I'd be surprised if he works full time as well most devs don't
Cross country skiers? No, it's just that you all say the same drivel without any context (or intelligence), have little knowledge of what it takes to get onto steam (which I've explained in a post already since I helped him), continuously ignore the fact that he's paused payments for subscribers when he had to spend more time on his real life job, or anything else that's actually relevant. No, people like you tend to think devs are supposed to work on their games 24/7, even though doing so doesn't sustain their cost of living so they have to work real full-time jobs. And those of us close to him or those who just have common sense are cross country skiers because they call you out on your bullshit? Get real.Well atleast Ttrick pays bunch of cc s-kers to defend him when someone criticize him/game
