What Wilwock said is true. But the missing key detail that allows it to happen. Is at the start of the game. When you get that choice about control. You have to pick to not be in control.

Funnily enough it's mines too... minus the scene part. Actually stumbled upon it by accident. Thought I had chosen the stop talking to him option. But I guess I clicked wrong. Was quite the "....the fuck is happening???" moment later on. But Ann's vanilla route is dryer then an Arizona Summer. And that's pretty much the only thing that ended up making it interesting for me. Granted, college Ann looked like she might've been shaping up to be more interesting then a piece of card board. Even without the whole Chris thing.

Either way, I just hope it has an equally or at least good enough payoff. Because it became the one update I was looking forward to.

The dev has a real life and he is doing this as a side project and not going all out to make the game as his full-time job. Yeah it sucks we get so less updates, but it is what it is.
At least the update content should be big and not just one or two scenes.

well the side project is on patreon with 851 paid members, subscribestar, Itchi and also on steam, so you're telling me someone making money off any project, side project or not, should not have some sort of commitment even when they are making a significant monetary gain?
keep defending these lazy devs and pour more money into their pockets while they do 2 updates a year with 10 mins worth of content. I will keep pirating this "side project".
This scammer dev did a steam release last year and wasted 8 months polishing content in order to do that, added few minutes of content for that release. And the next release was few months ago. Games been in development since 2019. He makes a few patreon posts with a couple of renders each month to keep the fans hooked, and title them with "what is she looking at?", "what would you do?" "Oops... wront room", and other cringe posts, oh and don't forget the classics from lazy devs like these "was sick last month", "broke my arm", "was in an accident", "died".
Don't subscribe to this scammer, just pirate it here or elsewhere. The dev wants to keep milking his fans and the content. Pls don't fool yourself when scammers say "this is a side project, i have a family, job etc", it's not a damn side project when you make money off your fans. With steam + patreon I assume he makes a significant amount a month.

It literally is a hobby/side-project and has said that from day 1. He has also said many times not to "donate" if you don't have the spare income to do so, while also pausing payments, like it was for like 3 plus months at one point. Yip, scammer move right there :KEK:

90% of adult game dev's it is a side-project since almost every single one has a real job. There are very few that have adult game dev as their full-time job. Making $2k a month will not support anyone in this economy.

Scammers are not honest about anything they do.

Steam also says the same hence why it says "early access".

Games in Early Access are not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development.

Yeah i dont get it either - the entire culture of justifying slow development on 'hobbies' or 'side projects'. None of that matters from the view of the consumer, they're paying the same real world cash whether the developer is a "full time employee" of their game business or it's a "side hobby".

This is a conversation I'd expect to hear between developers and their friends/confidants, but not consumers.
