I actually laughed when I read this...I must also be a weirdo. Years ago when I first discovered the VN genre I left the sound on for the first game (no idea which one) and the sounds I heard were like termites - destroyed my wood. Being an adult male, happily married and still very active sexually, the sounds in these games are worse than a "b" 70's porn film - besides the horrible synthetic sex sounds, if I have a soundtrack playing during any portion of my day, it typically stays in my head...seriously. The Ann Hate route is the opposite of a loving cuck route. What Joshy wants is to be an almost platonic, loving boyfriend who helps picks out her clothes and get her ready for her big night. Probably drives her there and opens the door for her like she's his prom date, to then deliver to another guy. Almost platonic because kisses before and after.

No, if they're on the breakup route then the scene plays automatically. If they're not then you get to choose between that and the threesome. You can also cuck Joe right to his face during the threesome so it's worth playing it for that but I prefer the breakup path personally.

I suppose it's possible. There's already specific dialogue in the game in situations where MC does cheat on Ann.

Yup, always been that way, unfortunately (for my own tastes anyway, obviously some like it). All 3 of Ann, Van, Alex look like someone dialed up the G8f growing up, but then didn't apply the 'youth head proportion' fix.

I think stressful is a better word than thrilling, but to each their own.
I'm also too shallow to care about contextualizing the thrill. I want the hotter one. If the hotter one is my girlfriend, then that's great news! If the girlfriend signs off on a hotter one, great!
I could be reading GOOML wrong, but I think he's getting at the decidedly WVMish tack a lot of the relationships are taking.

I mean as far as the narrative of the story is, I'm doubting there will be severe consequences for cheating... and even so, Ann will probably just "hehe" it away if she finds out about MC cheating.
