No, because the Steam version is not here to make an update to the gallery unlocker.

GetOutOfMyLab I did a full playthrough saving and loading without any issues on the Steam Deck, except that I couldn't change the option to skip unread text. I had to set it to full-screen mode to be able to select the options. But apart from that, it was possible to play without any problems.

I was actually just about to message you. I was talking with TTrick and then it dawned on me... what do you use in order to try to skip unread text? For PC, it's the CTRL key. Not sure what you'd use for Steam Deck.

If you sub at a $10 tier on Patreon or SubscribeStar, OR if you have subbed at any tier for enough time to reach $10 (for example, if you were $1 tier for 10 months), you can contact TTrick through whatever account you have and he will give you a Steam key. That should be able to bypass the region requirement.

Same with Itch.io. If you go to his page and have spent $10 and can prove it, he will give you a Steam key.

As I mentioned before, I'm so excited that Long Story Short is now available on Steam! It took a while, but I hope it will be worth it! Thank you all for being patient with me, and I promise to make it worth your while!

First, I'm going to post the links for the full V0.9 version in a different post (I'll pin it).

Second, I'd like to address some frequent questions that may have been unclear from my previous posts.

• The

  version is the same as V0.9a, but it includes the missing animations, new Jenny scenes, and the two paths (Joe rival and Ann hate) that were paused at the start of V0.7.
• I mentioned in my previous post that I paused payments for October, so if you plan to continue supporting me, I'd really appreciate it if you purchase the game on Steam and leave a positive review. It really helps bring the game to more people.
• If your total contribution is above the Steam launch price ($9.99), you can request a Steam key from me—just contact me, and I'll provide one.
• For those blocked from purchasing the game on Steam (e.g., in Germany), you can still use a key to launch the game; you're just restricted from accessing the store page.
• I understand that some people prefer not to have adult games on their Steam account, so here is what you can do:
  • You can set the game to private and hide it from everyone.
  • I’ve also opened an

Feeling lied, I've been waiting for new content, at least a little bit, in Ann's hate and Joe is a rival(Essentially we just got a small text update with the pictures already in the game and before that), but in fact only got one new and small scene with Jenny. So the update is all about the release on Steam. In my personal opinion, it would be better if the time that was spent on music would have gone to new content, the Achievements in Steam is certainly good, but no more.

I really hope we get more content than usual in the next new and soon updates....

Not sure if you meant another word here, but you definitely weren't lied to. His updates on Patreon/SubscribeStar have indicated for a while what this would be.

And I've seen those posts leaked here, so even if you weren't a subscriber during those times, you'd have seen them if you're watching this thread.

Moving to Steam is a big deal and you should realize that even if you don't care about music, there are those who do. I don't know why... I personally mute most games unless they have an exceptional sound track. But people love that shit, so it was important in order to make a good first impression on new Steam players.

Not sure you'll get more content than usual, but as I mentioned in an earlier post, it will be back to business as usual once the fog has cleared around the Steam release.

Well, yeah.. of course he's going to put his official version on Steam and not the Ren'Py port made by me, a third-party. You can support him in some way if you want and still keep playing the Ren'Py port.

haha lol I still never tried your version out only ever played the Dev's version Renpy or not doesn't matter all that much to me don't really notice much of a difference last I played at least within the engine. I'm sure there is a difference with some of your edits or corrections

Yeah, TTrick's engine is very much like Ren'Py. Mine has a lot of QoL features like built-in walkthrough, auto-read/like Insta posts, and more realistic dialogue regardless if Emily is your sister or not. But yeah, as far as custom engines go, TTrick's is really good.
