I‘m a little bit irritated . MC in my playthrough has never shared Ann, they have never even spoken about it, and yet the scene at the motel treats their relationship as if they would be in complete sharing mode. It seems that there is a path split missing, even if it would only be some dialog where they would or wouldn’t agree on sharing…

So you invited them in, having never shared her before, and feel the dialogue needs some touch-up? Do you have examples of the dialogue that irritated you as well as suggestions to make it less irritating?

I’ve no defined examples, but I think it is kinda strange that Ann gets for example intimate with them on the bed and MC reacts like this is total normal for him, even if they haven’t established any sharing beforehand. Also, in this case Anns behavior seems of, because without MCs consent this should basically be cheating, which doesn’t seem to make much sense.

There are a few scenes that have a certain dialogue that either gets forgotten or brushed aside and lost in the story. One particular one is if you don't go to the movies with Ann and Chris you end up going to the bar later that night and Chris tells you they did something but tells you to ask Ann about it. The next day she comes over for acting lessons in which the MC brings this up to her and she brushes it off/ignores it. I think it's his internal monologue that says it bothers him and he'll bring it up after the lesson but right after that she mentions bringing Chris in for the lesson(your given a choice). No matter the choice, after that it is just forgotten/ignored like it never happened and doesn't bother him. So far it's completely lost to the story. It's been a while since I've played so my recollections may be a touch off.

It's the things like that, and no matter if she cheats or not you can't get away from her once you've started her path. You become a cuck/simp being dragged along for the ride without any say in anything other than which scenes to see. Also the fact they never really talk about sharing at all it just happens and the MC has to accept it even when it's without consent. Probably the biggest drawback/gripe with the story, at least for me.

Does it not give you the choice of NOT inviting them in the room? It did for me. I have played many routes and There always seemed to be a out. Well unless you lose Ann to Chris that one actually was harsh on me. Even had to take a break from the game...yep it got me that good.

Ann's the kind of girl you know would fuck a hobo convention if you left the room for longer than 5 minutes.

No one would regard Ann as serious relationship material. She's the girl you basically have fun with, knowing it will never break your heart.

That's why the MC is so open to her doing slutty stuff. She gave Chris her number while on a date with you ffs! Why would anyone think she's serious.

Also, the characters are young, learning the ropes with sex and relationships.

It's not like you marry the first girl you date, I feel bad for anyone who didn't spend at least 10 years ploughing the field before settling down with a woman you know probably shagged the Harlem Globetrotters on her Spring Break.

Am i right?

It’s not about having no out, it’s simply the observation that it doesn’t make much sense in that regard.

I don’t remember anything about that. Chris isn’t appearing in any scene after serving drinks at the birthday in my playthrough.

If you happen to play again and can provide anything specific regarding that, let me know. TTrick is receptive to changes and you're not the only one who took issue with the motel scene.
