Honestly, let them make their game, I like the girls as they are. In some games they shave, in others they have a beard, everyone to himself, but don't change the girls!

I agree, I too wish at least Ann could keep her original pussy hair and that there could be more of it (Not just for Ann but for other girls too. And not just in this game, I confess I would like hairy beavers in all of the games I like). But we can't always get what we want and I prefer getting regular updates and new content. Especially if the hair options lead to multiple new/extra renders.
However, I heard TTrick has a trick up his sleeve
and that he (due to great programming skills) can position things on bodies as a choosable extra flavor to a render (this came up in a discussion about adding tattoos to Ann or others. I am opposed to tattoos, I really dislike em). If so it might not be that hard to allow for player choices (keeping fingers crossed). But story progression first, all of that should be flavor content at the end (if it is possible and not to taxing for our beloved developer).

I think it is more a practical, solution, since I heard a lot of dev and 3D artist complain about pubic assets in DAZ3D, and to be honest some look beyond funny, so maybe he opted out of dealing with the nightmare of work intensive post processing.
this is a wild guess from me, and more or less a logical explanaiton. final answer can only the dev provide.

There is an updated file and also a few posts that link back to a comment on how to unlock the updated gallery without needing an updated file. I think p.660 has both the updated file and the link, but the link is posted several times in the last 5 pages of comments.

Does the Ann hate path and Joe rival path actually have any new scenes this update or is it just some minor dialogue changes.

All the models, or just Ann? I remember feeling the same way when I first played this game a long time ago, but it was only her model that stood out to me. Now, though, it doesn’t bother me at all.

I'm gonna say something a little controversial. Ann isn't the only model that has the head-to-body ratio problem. All of the girls suffer from a massive cranium. Ann just seems a little more noticeable because her shoulders are so damn narrow. It makes her look like a fucking lollypop.

Installation:
Seems there are a few different alpha versions, to find which file you need, navigate to resources\app\dist\static\js and look for a main.numbers.chunk.js file. Get the attached file that matches the numbers you have. Rename your existing file by adding .bak at the end and extract the unlocked file instead.
I did that.

So so writing (better than most in the genre, but that's not saying much), kinda a generic story, and a bit too slow burn, but that last rough sex scene with Ann....woah! Very good.
