Well it can be made to a certain point like when you make choices and what you based them on. Like, which girl "I" prefer in this or that VN? The innocent little one or the ex-fat friends girlfriend? I would go for the little one both in game and irl. Here you can load go with the hotter one to see the content but in the end, when the games asks you to make a decision, you will probably make the same you would do irl. When the choice matters...
That's typically the gut feeling, but then you might be missing out on content and you won't see "what if". I usually played a couple different routes to see how my choices play out.
But in a game, I'm not going to make choices based exactly on how I live my life. There are save games for a reason, and I'll use them.
What I do I like, it's when choices make sense. If I choose to be a cunt, I'm going to get likewise treatment and people will shun me. If I choose to be nice, others will react to that accordingly.
What I hate is when NPCs act completely out of character. So you have a virginal character, you rape her, she loves it and begs for more... That's not how people's minds work.
That's what makes corruption games sometimes enjoyable and sometimes deplorable. Some are well written and you can actually trace the progress from angel to slut with no obvious holes.
Some are written badly.
The character is simply too pure to be corrupted, so the author will take obvious shortcuts because
patrons F95Zone forum members demand skin and will complain about slow burn.
Sadly, this can completely ruin a game. It simply doesn't make any sense when the first sexual act of the "pure girl" character is double penetration and the only reason for it was because fans demanded it.
Similar stuff applies to NTR games, especially corruption+NTR. The author presents a very pure character (the purer, the better, because of the shock value), her very caring significant other (again, as caring as possible because of the shock value) and then makes tons of shortcuts to get to the point where she's begging to be fucked by everybody around her.
Not to make it one-sided, harem games suffer from this, too. Harems don't happen in real world, so the author writing them needs to make a lot of plot holes, resulting in something like an adolescent fantasy.
This is why I generally steer clear of harem and NTR games, and now corruption games, too. They're usually not written well and their only redeeming quality is usually graphics quality.
Listen, you're complaining about a lot of stupid shit here. You talk about not wanting a daughter to show skin for money, yet have you seen OnlyFans? Instagram? Hell, even porn? A lot of people's young daughters have been doing this kind of thing for years. It's realistic. You go on about the little one (assuming you mean Ann) becoming a slut and doing drugs. Guess what? I've known a lot of young women like that in real life. They start coming out of their shell for various reasons. It's realistic. Then there's Vanessa. She's a slut from day one in the game. Surprise! Sluts like that exist in real life. Is your problem with the fact that your dear LI's behave like real people?
Ann does not behave like a real person. She's introduced as a shy girl that would fit the player's in-game personality. She wants to come out of her shell, but the way it happens has way too many shortcuts. She mentions she disapproves of Vanessa's lifestyle. A change like the one she can follow in one of the paths is unrealistic. It's too fast and too forced.
