Apparently people like a game where degenerate bad guy like perverts and thugs win. In netori there's still a chance of the protagonist stealing the woman from an abusive/un-fulfilling relationship hence saving her, making him not so much of a bad guy while 90% of netorare the winner is the bad guy.
Also in a mostly corruption game with a netorare sub-plot, the protagonist would be the slut heroine with the cuck barely play any role. But when the ntr + male protagonist tag come together plus if the cuck is eyeless or/and nameable...then you know who's the target audience
