I wouldn't be too sure about that. I can tell you my saves are not transferable between 0.11.00 and 0.11.94 nor 0.11.95. And on the Discord channel they seem to say they are not either.

The dev considers any form of solid direction to be contemptible handholding.
This is why I stopped subscribing to him, though the slowed pace of releases didn't help either. He doesn't communicate regularly at all outside of Discord.

Last few days they were working on the End of the Month stream, where they work on requests from their top patrons, I believe...
Latest test version has a bug that prevents testing the new AT additions (Charlene and Jesse events), so as soon as that is sorted, and another test version released, we will know how close the new public version is.

Given how the game dev works via rendered pages... you'd have to re-create every page that featured the MC. So, no, I'm pretty sure this is impossible.

I'm not the dev, I think that would require a different method of generating art for the game.
Early game you can just bug your family for money in exchange for them being annoyed at you... but the easiest money with a bit of effort is getting your videogames skill to 3 and being a streamer.
It's good because video games is basically an essential skill as it's a great way to get focus back.

Earlier than video games 3 (that can take forever if u do not start as a gamer), you can with Order clean the garage, get some money and get on the good side of Dad to ask for your allowance. You can also mow the lawn over the weekend.
Probably easier than getting video games to 3 is fitness to 2, and work at the city Gym. Getting enough Fashion to work on the boutique or disorder to deal drugs is a bit of a pain

Money is one of the easier things to cheat as well, simply find the money line and add a few 0's and you'll be set. Assuming you don't mind doing a bit of save editing.
Save up a few hundred coins and invest them in securities. Every time you go there/click on the "money bag" icon, the percentage of profit will increase. There will be immeasurable money.

Given that there is a 0.11.96 test version released literally 2 days ago on discord, I would say very much not abandoned...
Baal may not be the best communicator within F95, but he is regularly on his discord streaming.
