Banned topics does not work and are completely ignored. But regular useless topics does reduce relation by 3 each. So you can have -9 relation per session.
The "going long stretches without updating" thing isn't all that unusual for the patreon. I don't really use discord, so I can't comment on baal's activity or habits on that end. I know work streams were a thing at one point, so I guess that might be the best indicator of if there's anything odd going on. Based on how long the last release gap was between this and superpowered was I wasn't really expecting another release before late May or June anyway.
I think I remember someone mentioning he had to take a little longer on Loser for the last update so in kind, he took a little longer on Superpowered as a way to sort of balance things out. I could be remembering wrong but it should be whatever the normal cycle was before that from now on. Don't quote me on this, I don't get as invested in stuff anymore and more or less just float in and out of threads.
