It's interesting coming back to this after around a year, because this is one of my favourite adult games of all time and it's somehow only got 2.5*.

sure, but its also a buggy mess, where you need to use cheats to access a fair bit of content. The UI is quite "user-unfriendly" and the development is slower than some continental glaciers.
If and when they at least fix some of the terrible bugs, maybe the rating will go higher

Most of the low reviews are about the grind factor, tanking the score down to one star without mentioning anything of what the game does well. A couple of them mention memory leak, which I do not experience - with components that are roughly 5+ years old (on average). A couple of the less than five stars are actually what I consider viable, honest reviews; that being what it does right, what it does wrong.
Personally, I think it deserves 3.5/5 as it currently stands. Certainly not deserving of one-star grind griping.
The grind is real and I don't mind it when I have a goal in mind per character. It doesn't take much thinking to figure out what to do and DOES NOT need a quest journal. Sure, the UI could do with being a little neater but the tricky thing is balancing function and form.

I will assume you mean the new event that is only for the good brother start. You need to get her drunk, and to do so you need to start early. Only way to do it is borrowing the Keys from Diane and be at the bar Early. You needed some topics as well (Friendly comes to mind) so it is not an easy event to see... But only happens on her first AT iirc

-Money is badly balanced (almost impossible to get at the start, useless later on)
-Has an antagonist (dad) for no reason that requires even more grinding to get rid of
-The MC seems to be a different character when interacting with different family members (multiple personalities issue)
-Guide REQUIRED to play
-Lacking QoL shortcuts/warps so you end up having to do many cumbersome clicks to do anything
-Promises an illusion of a good slow burn, but it's actually just masked grinding
-Bad UI that requires many clicks to do basic things/go through multiple menus
-Uses a week based system with limited time-sensitive events that requires you to click through another week just to repeat it, with no option to fast skip to a certain day
-Insane inventory management needed that rivals MMORPGs
-Item required to do anything/item bloat
-Engine lags/crashes

It certainly deserves a 1 star in my opinion. Also I never cheated when I played it. Something most reviewers say is a must. So this is as legit as it gets. The issues with Becky's route alone ensure I'll never try this again.

For someone who never intends to play the game again, it's odd that you pay attention to the thread. Usually when someone drops a game out of distaste, they bung it on their Ignored list.

but the thing is, no one is denying the potential of this game - it truly is there and could easily be a 5/5 - but it is not due to the reasons mentioned.
And yes, some of the reviews are unfair or down right stupid, that is however a general problem in all games (waah, this sandbox game has sandbox 1/5; waah, I ddint cum instantly after launching the game 0/5...)
It is, what it is and it is down to everyone to see if those reviews make sense to them or not

It could be 5/5 but even I think it has issues to resolve before even hitting a 4. The truly sad thing is those reviews are just dropped. Even if the game does change for the better, those will still be there, tanking its score.

I'm not on the Discor but you can check the planned content for yourself.
On the Main Menu, click Development, then Dev Roadmap.
He's got some interesting stuff planned for 0.13. We'll see if he has the time for it all.

yes - He is currently the superpowered 2-cycle and finishing up the SP2 to get really for a test build - so it will be a good while

I wish he had concentrated on loser. I havent played superpowered 2 yet, but is it like a remake of superpowered with better renders?

I haven't really played SP2 yet,
he does it so he doesn't get burned out - if you ever get the chance to watch the 8-12 long livestreams, you can see it takes a lot of work
