Curious don't know anything about Patreon rules except they don't like incest. But is this game abandoned if it is noticed this DEV has put anything out since July but has 340 paid subscribers. so are people paying him for nothing?

Currently the game is still being very vague about their relationship. She's not confirmed his biological daughter. On full release he'll probably censor it and introduce a separate unofficial patch like most devs do, or just keeping it vague like this forever I guess.

Came here to check on if the game was legit abandoned, but someone posted discord activity from the dev dated just two days ago from when I'm writing this.

So I don't think it's truly abandoned, though it is getting to be concerning. Still, it'd be a shame for this one to be abandoned and I hope it isn't.

Being patient and motivating is what helps the most in my opinion...

If you guys read a few pages back it looks like the dev is still actively working on the next update and he is active on discord. He just took a break from patreon/ss/steam because of negative comments. Not sure if there's been any updates since the beginning of January though

I am also skeptical that the game is abandoned, but the mods here seem to privilege communication with subscribers when determining if the project is still active. It is not as if the tag is meant to do anything other than manage expectations.

"Lost at Birth" last release date 2024-07-11 and without explicit announcement from author - abandoned, something like "My Wife's a Star" where last release date 2023-10-18 - all ok, it is in those moments where you lose respect and faith in tagging system.
