If you guys read a few pages back it looks like the dev is still actively working on the next update and he is active on discord. He just took a break from patreon/ss/steam because of negative comments. Not sure if there's been any updates since the beginning of January though

I am also skeptical that the game is abandoned, but the mods here seem to privilege communication with subscribers when determining if the project is still active. It is not as if the tag is meant to do anything other than manage expectations.
"Lost at Birth" last release date 2024-07-11 and without explicit announcement from author - abandoned, something like "My Wife's a Star" where last release date 2023-10-18 - all ok, it is in those moments where you lose respect and faith in tagging system.

Much better reason to go all emotional is one inability to read... If that crying person had this ability, they would've been able to read the comments above theirs (like, literally all of the comments on this page), and would've realized that this "abandoned" tag was put wrongly here (even by this forums rules it was a stretch).This is the best AVN I ever played.
