The Mac version says it cannot be opened. I downloaded it from several of the links, and it's all the same.
Yeah, that was the first thing I questioned too. I haven't played chapter 3 yet since I just found out this updated, so I don't know if they mentioned it yet.
But I saw that, they hung out, and I would have immediately been like "okay, we got to know each other a bit and I can see we mesh a bit. I'll schedule an appointment for a paternity test for us."
Like.. Not a hard concept. Either call the doctor's or call Maury for his TV show and get a free paternity test to announce for those who still watch those kinds of shows.

I think that both need/want this relationship to be real, so they delay thinking about DNA testing...

mod doesnt work always get a error message when trying to open the game, the game works fine without the mod, just letting you know
Which I understand to a point, but with some of the later comments about chapter 3, it still seems like the alcoholic wife is still trashing on Kailey, and the MC hasn't dropped her ass yet for it and maybe still thinking she's his mistress or something (again, haven't played chapter 3 yet. Maybe it changed). So, the MC should be trying to get proof that they're related to give the wife at least some peace of mind about something.
Also would like to know is it possible to stay with the wife without cheating and get her back and not drinking all the time - maybe have her adopt the daughter as well
The story felt surprisingly realistic until she started to live with mc, then she became very affectionate very very quickly. I'm not complaining, it's that kind of game and slow burns are generally a pain anyway. I'm just surprised that until then, she really reacted as she would if it wasn't an adult game. I rarely had that feeling in such games before, even in slow burns.
Another thing that others have pointed out, is that I'm surprised that at this point they still didn't do a dna test.
I had fun anyway, good luck to the dev and I'm looking forward to the rest of the story. It's good with a rapid pace too.
(just a detail, but I loved that story Justine told about "Marjory" that happened in that cast party they met each other)

I'm getting a windows defender trojan warning for the walkthrough mod.
That's the thing, he assume they're his daughters, so it's kind of possible he wouldn't make a test. Here as opposed to that, they're openely both wondering all the time "is he/she my father/daugther", yet they don't do the simple task (a bit of spit is enough now) that would make them sure. That's not even really of matter of realism, it's just that it would be the first reflex most of us would have.
I agree it's not very important, but it's just odd. As if in the future, the dev planned to make them discover she's not his daughter after some drama around the fact that they are related yet a couple, thus rejected by society. So that there's a happy ending. Maybe I'm assuming too much.
