Yes. Its the correct version.the folder name in the zip says 1.1. but the game is updated to 1.2

I'd skip on the patch for now. It's not universal and it's outdated. Ends the game on the previous version. The name pointer looks to have been changed, had to fix it using URM. The name is now under pn and store.pn. Just search for Eliot using Value in URM.
Used to be store.player_name and player_name. So dev might've forgotten to fix the naming at the start to use the new pointer.
Edit: had the store and pn order backwards for store.pn

Someone has to go through the script.rpy and do it maually, due to the tennant/tennants, roomie/roomate, Old Landlady/Landlord, Landlady/Landlord and Custodians, that's being used for multiple people, including the MC and his "roomies".
Can't do that with URM sadly, as it's not done with relationship variables. And previously patched saves work just fine, as the patch changes the actual dialogue, and does not mess with the code, as there is no code to mess with for an easy/quick fix.
So, we'll have to wait for an update from the original creator of the patch, or on someone that willingly takes on the tedium of splicing the old patch with the new content, and goes through the new dialogues, and updating the new lines that need it. Either way, I wish that someone good luck, and thanks in advance

replay? it happens when you load the game up first and go into replay without loading a save first. it runs default name instead.
MC looks older than his mom, a lot older. Desire of Fate also had a similar issue

Just downloaded this one for the first time so I am starting with Part 1.... and wow, the writing is abysmal.
I know AVNs/ adult games use porn-logic and generally require you to suspend your disbelief in a number of ways, but come on - could you at least make the set-up for the plot remotely believable?
So the guy hasn't seen his mom since he was 5 and he is now a full-grown adult. 30 seconds into hearing his mother on the phone and he is able to immediately & without any doubt identify a voice he hasn't heard in decades and believed to be deceased? Then the casual way with which Marion (not Marianne for whatever reason) downplays what will be a bombshell reveal to the mother - who isn't yet aware - is also confusing. Then the woman hooks-up with the MC, her boss' son mind you, just because he couldn't stop staring at her tits. "Surprise Susan, here is your long-lost son who you did not expect to see here, well I hired him to surprise you and btw I also fucked him last night." Everything about the set-up is illogical and just dumb.
I am not really here for the dialogue but still, can you at least write a remotely believable intro to the story? Maybe it's me, maybe I expect too much. I am not going to be an asshole and give this game a one-star review but yeah, the writing is an absolute letdown. Going to use that tab key to skip unseen text a whole lot on this one.

ok downloaded and started playing enjoying so far, one thing though the MC is supposed to be around age 25 but he look like he is in his 40s lol.
