I know it is just that dev clearly just opened script.rpy in notepad++ and did all changes with replace all without any proofreading and now game just does not make any sense... Talk about lazy... If game supposed to be "related" then just make simple file with defines of titles that will be off the patreon and replace the stupid text with titles of stupid "unrelated" defines...

so far i'm using the patch from the beginning and it works for the most part not sure about the new update with the patch i will see but from what i am hearing the patch doesn't work with the new update because it's outdated

I am pretty sure the "patch" is just renaming stuff in the script file.
So it only works now cause you overwrote the whole script with previous version.

When you get to the new parts of the game, you'll just have blank text because you overwrote everything.

Landlords and Landladies = lol, I forget they exist the day after I move out and quit owing them rent. I really wish all supporters would quit giving money to Patreon (there are other platforms and even crypto and checks in the mail still work) and quit perpetuating this ridiculous shit. I mean what happens when they put in their TOS "anything that obviously attempts to circumvent this TOS is also not allowed", which they can do at any time.

It's your typical pirate site, lawyer up and send in DMCA's and sue if it needs escalated to get it removed, really that simple. Or simply use this site's Rule 7 against them and put optional lewd lolis in it next update with no patch, cheaper solution than lawyers.

I agree. This title would do better if a renaming feature was added allowing the player (at the starting) the choice to edit relationship types. And instead of putting all the effort preventing and cleansing anything that could be related to anyone who might be MC's family members, is disapointing.

And instead it would be the user who decides the labeling (...And not the Patreon fu_k's who force developers to comply).

And I had just started playing, but I came back looking for a patch. It's become unplayable...with how odd the relationship terms are being used in the dialog. It's unnatural, and anoying to constantly read landlady or MC calling his father by his name.

I sure hope someone creates a patch soon.

Adjustment Mod

Here's a small compilation of a few UI adjustments and utility mod's which present some pleasing changes to this old school harem title. (Improved dialog visibility, along with a few extra utility features to boot.)

• Changed the default textbox, to a custom bottom shaded version...(which aids with viewing the dialog text without blocking any of the background content).
• Edited the gui.rpy file, (adjusted the dialog settings to accommodate the custom textbox (removed small space at the bottom of the textbox where the quick menu is located).
• Included the 0x52_URM utility tool, which allows the user to view as well edit Ren'Py titles. (Can be used to verify and view data behind some of the story choices, as well can be used to display requirement checks as they happen through out a story. Editing...pressing ALT m keys together to bring up the search console to view or edit points, etc..)
• Included a Universal Quick Menu mod, used to hide's or display the bottom quick menu...by pressing your Q key. (A mod used to help clean up the dialog area by hiding the quick menu's from the dialog area of your screen.)
• Included the Universal Choice Descriptor Mod, which can display on screen data that can be hidden behind some of the story choices. (Note: This is not a walk through, though this useful mod can display some choice point variables on screen. URM does the same...but not in real time.)
• Included a custom font outline script mod, which adds a slight darker outline around the names and dialog text. (Improved visibility).
• Included a textbox opacity and font slider mod, (which is used to adjust the shading intensity of the dialog textbox, and or increase or decrease the dialog font size.)

Install:
Just extract and merge the mod's game folder with this titles game folder (over write when prompted). Then run your game exe, and enjoy this title's minor UI changes and added utility features.

Note: This mod compilation should not need regular updates, (provided no major coding changes are done to the original gui script of this title)…so this mod compilation should continue to work for future game releases.

Yes to a restart...as you will avoid potential issues if you do.

And don't forget the posted (fixed patch) script file...a few posts above this one.
