Really like this game, it has good story. I hope developer will make android version too, on his discord there is not an android version...

G'Day all you wonderful supporters out there!
Time for another update on my progress. As you can see in the graphic I am making more steady progress in the rendering process. To date I have 700+ renders / animations done for Lost & Found - Part One and still have a long way to go. Hopefully I won't have any more hurdles to overcome such as illness etc. so fingers crossed the rest of the update goes smoothly for me.
Of recent my renders include a relaxing picnic which leads to other things and of course, another first date for someone special in MC's life.
Now... for a bit of housekeeping.
Moving forward I have made the decision to make any further LAF previews strictly Patreon-only. As always Kylie members and Amie members will get access to NSFW preview while the remaining paid tiers will get a SFW version. Same will apply for the excusive wallpapers which I endeavour to provide more frequently. This will also apply to our DIscord server as well.
This decision was not made lightly with the mindset of maximising the value of becoming a Patreon of mine. If anyone had felt in the past that wasn't the case, I apologise.
Well... that's about it for me for now.

Why did you change mother/mom to landlady and sister to roommate? I get that it's kind of an inside joke on f95, but it's distracting me from the story. and most games here have the option to decide your relation to these people, and i prefer that (like for example second class). Other than that great indie game very sexy suff.
He had to do that to avoid being kicked off from Patreon. Patreon is really extremely sensitive about incest stuff, and several developers are kicked out already. I think Patreon is acting stupid, but who am I? Anyway - The developer had little choice if he wanted to stay on Patreon.
As far as I know the Winchest patch should restore things to normal again. I have not tried it yet, because i had put this VN on the back burner the moment Mom changed into some distant Landlady, and I lost all my sisters and cousins and aunts in some reality distorting accident. It really wrecked the VN. To keep it short - The fun factor went from very nice to bottom barrel joyless.
I will try again soon, to see if that Winchest patch is really working well, otherwise I will drop this VN like a hot potato.

Good to know, because the early Winchest patch was not working very well. You got mixed sentences, where you Mother was called Mother one time and Landlady a few moments later. The same went for your sisters, that went from sisters to room mates, and back again. It was confusing as hell.it worked the last time i tried it
As said - I will give it a try, and hope the patch is in a better shape now.

thanks for clarifying that. next questions, how do i put the patch into the game files?
were in the game files do i put them? when i click on winchest it opens up in firefox and there's no way to download it or anything. i am an idiot when it comes to coding, i would very much appreciate any help.

umm, i don't think the patch in op is updated to the newest version anyway. if you put it in the game folder it will overwrite the one that is there and you'll lose all the content that was added since that release. Always use the patch marked with the same gameversion as the current release. ps! right clicking on the link and choose save as, will let you download the rpy file. that is why i always zip those before uploading a patch.

The file should have been fixed about 6 days after the latest release, at least the file that's currently linked to wincest in the OP. And yes, the file is a raw rpy file, so you have to right-click (or long click for MAC users with a non smartmouse single button mouse) and select "safe file as" ... then it goes in the "game" folder inside the game's folder.
Yep - Installing is just a question of overwriting the original files, and it should work.
Anyway - As said, I am going to give this VN a last chance. The latest update for this VN is 0.9 dated 2024-06-07, so the patch should be fully updated by now. If it's still inconsistent and unreadable by that, then this VN is dead for me.
Let's not forget that this VN is a "homage" to the original VN made by Killer7 (My New Family), and originally started as a real variant of that VN. By letting loose those family ties, it becomes no longer a homage but a parody. All interesting stuff that made the original fun for me, is sanitized away in this "Patreon censored" version. That's the reason I shelved this VN for now.
Believe me - I like the original from Killer7, and liked this "variant" from Jun1or72. But if the very core what made this VN interesting for me (apart from readheads) is ripped out only to please Patreon, then the VN looses all attraction. And that's sad.

Howdy all you great LAF-arians out there!
I have another update for you.
So at this stage I am now half-way through the rendering process as I near completion of ingame week two of the update. It's unfortunately a slow process but I am going at a pace where I can ensure the best quality renders I can provide for your enjoyment.
Let's quickly talk about the game.
The first ingame week involves the aftermath of Kylie's wedding as I previously mentioned. But it also reveals a household member becoming ill from stress. Our protagonist tries to get to the bottom of it, but finds out the hard way during the second week where there is an upheavel of sorts. In amongst that there is a couple of dinner dates and another ring as well as another wholesome announcement.
I also found out today I had passed my probation at my new job so I finally have some stability in my personal life which in turn will help me focus better on all things LAF.
I will give an update on CyberAlex as well. He is currently renting a hotel room in Alabama while he finds public housing as he lost everything in the cyclones in Florida. He has got a basic job but however the money from that only covers the accomodation. So he is still looking for assistance in that regard mainly for food, clothing etc. Just the basics till he gets back on his feet. If anyone is able to help they can check out the links in our DIscord.
Well, that's about it for me at this stage. I'll keep working hard to deliver the best possible update i can give you all, and again I'll keep you posted on my progress.
