As far as I know the Winchest patch should restore things to normal again. I have not tried it yet, because i had put this VN on the back burner the moment Mom changed into some distant Landlady, and I lost all my sisters and cousins and aunts in some reality distorting accident. It really wrecked the VN. To keep it short - The fun factor went from very nice to bottom barrel joyless.

I will try again soon, to see if that Winchest patch is really working well, otherwise I will drop this VN like a hot potato.

I get it and understand it. However, he is starting to get his roommates and landlady's mixed up. I still wish he would allow us to edit the relationships, tho.

Hey all you wonderful humans out there!

Time for another update. I am making steady progress on the renders for the new update.
It has been a week of change for me. On the homefront I am currently searching for a second job no thanks to the management of my current job cutting my shifts back to two days a week without notice. I am following up with the fair work commission regarding so hopefully luck is on my side. Apart from that my health is generally good so I'm able to keep focusing on my prirorities, one of which is providing you guys with the best content I can.

I am on the verge of completing ingame Week 3 of 4 of the renders. The third week restores calm to the LAF household as well as bringing a couple of unexpected surprises, plus another emotional family event, not to mention your typical displays of affection.

That pretty much sums it up for now. I'll use my extra days off now to push through the update as quick as I can, so once again I'll keep you updated on my progress.

Requesting a mod for the game to delete every entry of the word "respect".

The cringe of reading that a woman would find a mans respect attractive is just off the charts.

I swear every time that line is uttered I want this game to turn into NTR or some shit, the MC deserves it.

I can't remember exactly what it is...but it JUST started last patch, so there's plenty of content without it if you're not into it.

You mean the "winchest" patch? The last time I read that VN all relations where messed up, and the whole tension of having a relation with a family member, and thus doing something the "outside" world would not accept, is completely gone. It's now a "tennant", that could be every daisy hiring a room over there. It could be a nice person, but why would you care about her? It's just somebody living in some room in a renting house. And a "Landlady" feels very, very distant, because you are not related in her in any way. Just move to another house and room, and she is just a distant acquaintance, nothing more. Why would you care some jerk tells you a a untrue story about a acquaintance that died? The hottest reaction would be a shrug, and life goes on...

Realy - Patreon is a place where all excitement of games like this dies. To satisfy Patreon the whole VN is now messed up. I am glad I dropped it a few months ago. I loved when this VN was made as a homage to the original, but now the very core is ripped out, I think the original is by now far, far better. The author of the original kept true to the story. It's really sad, because I liked this VN, but as long as it's a complete mess if you apply the patch I will not touch it anymore.
