Hmmm... 10.0 was okay as an update, but game itself still has some major problems.

Small updates;
Rare updates (three-four months for a small update is like 12-15 times slower than some known authors ^^) ;
Plagiarism (yeah, even 10.0 has a huge chunk of blatantly stolen ideas "inspiration" from some known authors ^^).

And yeah, if you, for example, are stealing fragments of sad music from Beethoven to create your own music, any arguments like "So what, Beethoven is the only one who can write sad music?" or "So what, Beethoven also take ideas from someone else!" are completely invalid for you. Deal with it.

Anyway, you can do better. So do better and you'll be succesful. Or don't. That's your own choice, and you don't need to listen for any comments.

Small updates
Every single update since 0.2 has been between 20,000 and 25,000 words, and most have over 500 renders (with 0.7 and 0.9 being in the 700s).That's considered small nowadays?

Rare updates (three-four months for a small update is like 12-15 times slower than some known authors ^^)
I update every 2-3 months though...? 0.9 -> 0.10 took 2 months and a half (August 16th -> November 1st).
I ran a consistent 2 month schedule up until a few updates ago (0.7, if I remember correctly?) where I invested in improvements to render quality and proofreading. I am making nowhere near enough money to do this full-time so it's either this, or micro updates. And at that point I prefer giving people some actual content instead of 5 minutes worth of reading.
And who are these supposed "known authors" pumping out updates 12-15 times the size in 2-3 months? Do they do this full-time? I pump out more content in less time than a fair number of very big names who are able to do this full-time. Who are you even using as a benchmark here? Because I have the feeling that whoever you're referring to (Selebus? he does this full-time, it's a ridiculous comparison) is an outlier and not the norm.

Such as? I've seen several people say this now and I have genuinely no clue where this is coming from.

12-15 times would be 250.000 words, and Seleubs is doing only around ~60k per month, so it's definetly not about him

I know you're specifically referencing Selebus and you don't really know anything about how Lessons in Love is made, that game receives more help than you realize.
It is VERY difficult to make games like this alone, specially when you're not being paid full-time to do it. As a matter of fact, it is very impressive the amount of work being done here as a solo developer.
I'm just gonna say that imitation is the best form of flattery even if Selly himself doesn't see it, but even if you don't like it you don't have to be so negative.
Being a writer fucking SUCKS, it's difficult to keep pumping words and being on schedule just for the work to not be appreciated, it probably sucks even more to make renders for a VN to go alongside your text (I have seen the process and it takes time)

The "how many events" question needs to be altered to specify main events. I had to check the code to figure out why 194 was incorrect.

This was already fixed in 0.10.1 and was a known issue in the subscriber build that got leaked here. No clue how it slipped past me in my proofreading rounds.

I'm so upset I can't write a review on this game because I believe that it's really good and has potential. This game scared me so much once I rejected the teacher and from then on I've grown to love it because it showed me an element a game had ever expressed to me before. Even though this game supposedly has taken a lot of inspiration from LiL (I have never played LiL because it has ntr) I still think it has room to move away from just being a copy of it, especially with all of the mysteries it has. Still a good game that has room for improvement, I really hope to see more of Kodoku's story.

Bruhhh what??? That game is literally set in a sub dimension where the MC is seemingly the only man in existence. No idea where you heard there was NTR. Maybe there was some in the non canon DLC content, I can't comment there since I've never played it, but that's not even a part of the actual base game. There's also no NTR tag for that game.
Don't get me wrong, I think LiL is kinda mid as far as the whole LiL-like denpa AVNs go but there's no NTR.

The sentiment for NTR in LiL tends to be girls relationships with other girls. There are a few of those kinds of scenes, mostly with characters that the MC hasn't gotten with yet, but the detractors hate it for existing.

You'll find this sentiment in basically any game that has any amount of lesbian content and is also tagged Harem.

I'm pretty sure we'll see the sentiment pop up in this game too, sooner or later. There are some yuri undertones for some of the girls.
