ahh it is so frustrating to start new game again .. this is third time I play from beginning can someone share save files from 0.5? please

Well, you don't have to start from the beginning again, but veqvil didn't have the time to check the savegame compatibility, besides there's some new additions to the game which you would miss and some that probably won't work until you start a new game

It "should" be alright, but we didn't test it yet, we had to rush some things this night, so it might give you some troubles if you load an 0.05 savegame... I'll look into the compatibility stuff tonight after veq sent me the latest raw files
tldr; We don't know that for certain yet, so better safe than sorry: no

Yep, sorry about that but we changed "EVERYTHING" and I mean really everything, veq went through the whole code (more than 15k lines of code) and cleaned up the whole place, after that we added a lot of nice new extras and features which might give some compatibility issues, we didn't have the time to test that yet so I'm not sure about that.
p.S.: That's the problem with "in dev" games, there's always the possibility that something isn't compatible with one of the older versions.

Well he really worked his ass off, he probably worked on that release more than on all updates from 0.01 put together, but sadly it's not visible too much since it was ~90% background work.

I think I'm going to try something really radical...I'm not sure it's been tried before....I'm going to play the game first and then make comments.

Aha! You have made a technically inaccurate snark. I made an "announcement". At no time did I make a comment on the game.
But, I will grant you partial points, as I did not specifically say "comment about the game". But, you, Kit, are clearly able to distinguish the reference intended.
(More importantly, why are we even having this discussion...although, it's still more salient than asking for a walkthrough or a save - when we've already been told saves may not work)
