How do you get to get introduced to the switches, I follow the fitness and Amy love path, I don't get anything about the switches, even the blue book at the entrance doesn't show anything, it just says that it looks like an interesting book, what did I miss here?

I think there is a bug with it if you touch it before going to see Amy in the hospital then it bugs out.
Don't touch them until you visit Amy in the hospital and it should allow you to get the new quest.

Saves from previous versions don't work with 0.6 unfortunately. As for a walkthrough, check out the one in the OP. It'll get you up until the end of 0.5 and from there you'll have a quest log for 0.6 content.
I would like to apologize once more and when i calmed down i managed to delete my %appdata% files , all recent files , temp .e.t.c . As we speak i download again the latest version 0.06.1 and i will give it a try . I am not sure how can i take screenshots if an error occur and how to post it here though , not a "hacker"you know !Well I'm definitely sorry to cause you this headache, but so far this fatal error you are describing hasn't been named anywhere else, at least not in 0.06.1.
While my game releases always had bugs here and there (0.02 - 0.06), I always made sure that at least there are no gamebreakers, since that would rend the whole release useless to anyone.
Again, I hope Palantos suggestion can help you there, but you are def in good hands.

The quest to get access to the father's office becomes unavailable if you click on the picture frame of the father in MC's room as it blocks the later research after you click on the blue book in the hall. If you chose the psychology spec, the step to learn more about the dad is not necessary and you directly get the key. Therefore, you can start the quest.
However, veq is aware of this bug and it will prolly be fixed with a patch. The quest itself still can't be finished, so you won't miss any (important) content. So if you plan to pick fitness or technology as your spec, just don't click on the pic of the father in MC's room.

Yep, that's because it can only be "activated" when the other two already are
