Some of tablets are bigger than laptop screen & not everyone has time for carrying the laptop everywhere to play a game. Where phone & tablets are compact & can do better than some laptops.In my mind, these games aren`t designed to play at phones or tablets (you must see, what you are doing) !!!! It's not just about the size of the screen, even though tablets bigger than laptops are extremely rare (same as laptops smaller than biggest tablets aren't exactly a standard), I'd guess it has more to do with the tablet's user interface. I have yet to see a finger that would be better suited for clicking on small buttons/items than mouse cursor is... And "hidden items" are supposed to be small and difficult to find (and click on).

I checked up on it cause I thought the author was right, and the large dev cycle wouldn't become the norm, like he promised. What does that have to do with you paying the guy money for a 30 min update every 4 months?

Dev's have RL's too and you never know what happens with a dev's RL. Being said, of course compared to other dev's @Vequil's updates are taking longer but have you had the chance to render, code and write a script all by yourself? I'd suggest you to try it out and it may give you a different perspective.

Btw regarding amy's love path,there's no quest for it right?i just went thru it again and i kinda get carol love path quest but if i'm not mistaken i also get most of the stuff from amy's love path,weird one,it's like separate amy's love path and carol love path in one go.
the headline image for this game is like 200 times more lewd than the game itself, slow as it develops and drags on for like 2 chapters of hospital trips

The thing is that the dev released the first few updates on a monthly basis from what I remember, and those updates were larger as well. So it can't be the dev time that's the issue.
I agree that people have RL issues, but you'd think weg devs live in a warzone from all of the stories they tell about themselves. All of them suffer floods, and need surgeries, and go blind and get the plague and have their parents die and have their cat get cancer, etc.
It's hard to not believe most of them are lying. Especially since they don't really suffer any real consequence from constantly delaying their product, since most of their fanbase is made of apologists, like this thread shows.

I'm not saying you don't have a point because there's definitely devs who milk the crap out of their patrons and make up excuses. What I'm saying is there's certain devs that do try and to explain the situation as much as they can and @Vequil is one of them. There's definitely other devs out there that don't explain a thing in comparison.
In terms of dev time, RL situations change so they might have had time before that they don't anymore. Unless you know the full story, we're not in a position to talk about that are we? And just to be clear as well, L&S isn't my type of game. I'll easily walk out of this thread/remove all traces of L&S from my machine if I didn't think the promise was being fulfilled.
Oh, we'll agree that this dev doesn't seem to be anywhere near as predatory as other devs, but I still think that my worries and attitude are completely justified.
And I don't really care about that sort of stuff. I don't get emotionally attached or invested in any of the games here. I'm really weirded out when people here get really emotional and confrontational just because you think a game they like sucks.

Well part of it is if you don't like it for trolling sake or not. If there's a proper coherent logic behind why you don't like it I think most people will accept it.
