I have noticed the NPCs have different pictures in the book now. Not sure if this happened in v0.5 but it yes... that would explain why you get a blank page. Your old save tries to load the old ones but can't due to new ones are used.
Unless the dev has a fix ready for that you need to start fresh.

No, I am stuck on that to due to the same bug. I also cant talk to Dolla in her room without hitting one as well.

Just another game to delete - I dont want to start all over AGAIN because dev change things in a way so old saves can't be used. We waited a year on this update and now the game is down the drain +

or a pacing issue possibly, maybe wanting it to happen a bit later, because why would they remove it just to put it back on patreon? there's literally old versions with it in, wouldn't make any sense
Dev thought the pacing was off. The last update I played it was supposed to be removed but the game glitched (as it often does) and started the storyline that led to that scene. Might still be possible, the files are still in.

I have now completed the game 0.5 and I must say I am looking forward to further content and more of it
I can't speak for whether they're still accessible in game, don't plan on actually playing this train wreck again until the dev either finishes or commits to not breaking saves every single update, but the files for Lily's lust events are still in. You can still play them with console commands or URM.
I mean he ALSO included an option to start at the new content guys...
It's not like your completely starting over, only thing missing is dolla and fauna content which isn't too bad, just turn on skip unread dialogue and speed through them
