How can I unlock the last event for Liu Xinyi, Sato Himari and Masumi Ishida? I already have them on max

I just updated from 3.0.1 GOG version to 3.1.1 and now whenever I choose the dialouge that corresponds to the waifu's personality preferrence there's no bonus intimacy point anymore. Did they get rid of this system or is this a bug? I even tried on a new save it still won't give me bonus point. I also tried choosing all options to check if maybe their preferences have been changed, but still no dice.
