So how do you activate Jenny event in book 2. Also where the main mom did see go back to America or just let's chloe take over.
Mom's there (you talk to her briefly in Act VIII+, and she's got a role to play in Act IX). Jenny's content, if you've done at least Black Rose II in book 1, just go and talk to her to trigger the beginning of her new stage. Also, check out your computer, it's gotten an upgrade. So how do you activate Jenny event in book 2. Also where the main mom did see go back to America or just let's chloe take over.
The coffee reference is a joke; in Making Movies Chloe has a guest appearance as crazy barrista, whose beans make you stronger/smarter or smoother, culminating in the red hot chilli tequila, which must be conquered to get her to make a movie for you.Asking for a spolier:
What combination of coffee does what effect? I assume if I choose the correct one, I will get a boost on a certain abilities book? There are just too many options to try all of them xD
So much effort for an insider joke and I even didn't get it... I am so sorry xDYou're there for the books, and the barrista
No worries, I enjoy little in-jokes and references like that. Layer upon layer of foreshadowing, shout-outs, pop-culture references, etc. You'll likely spot a bunch of stuff on the second play-through that you missed on the first one.So much effort for an insider joke and I even didn't get it... Thx for the explanation

Yes, if you grind away in Act+ (guilty) you can outpace the games designed challenge. If you aren't there already, consider switching up to Ultra difficulty. I think Droid's more concerned with getting the card game out of the way of those that don't enjoy that mechanic than balancing it on the top end right now.Having Excalibur recharge off of damage nullified by barrier is pretty broken. Maybe I'm just over-leveled from playing a bunch in the endless mode after chapters are complete, sitting at Level 63 with Str 126, Int 101, Cha 154 and Swordmanship 36. But against the Prince of the Abyss I was trivially keeping up barrier and still being able to use his damage up ability in between as well. From there it's just a matter of chewing through the HP pool.
I don't know all the game's mechanics in detail but in this case it probably uses the companion recharge mechanic which, to my knowledge, keys off of charisma. The thing is though that it also increases with enemy damage so there's a point were, if the enemy is strong enough, you can just keep spamming barrier to stay invulnerable. Higher charisma just means this will happen sooner against weaker enemies. So upping the difficulty would actually be counter productive.Yes, if you grind away in Act+ (guilty) you can outpace the games designed challenge. I'm not sure how much of a top end problem this is as I haven't tested at which point it becomes a problem. But it feels like any attempt to put a "too strong" enemy in front of the player is rendered moot by this. You always get barrier and always have excalibur equipped/with you. I don't think you need broken stats for this.I think Droid's more concerned with getting the card game out of the way of those that don't enjoy that mechanic than balancing it on the top end right now.
Charisma is the stat that affects companion recharge, as well as dmg you do + dmg to you.I don't know all the game's mechanics in detail but in this case it probably uses the companion recharge mechanic which, to my knowledge, keys off of charisma.
Against some enemies (outsiders), this is more or less required and there are encounters where it is simply the intended approach as the mobs will shred you if you don't use it. Gem build also factors into this. Ice and Poison centric builds make recharging tougher. The thing is though that it also increases with enemy damage so there's a point were, if the enemy is strong enough, you can just keep spamming barrier to stay invulnerable.
It's a trade off. You do less damage, mobs do more, certain companion capabilities (like Molly's wildcards) are adjusted/weakened, and average encountered mob level increases.Higher charisma just means this will happen sooner against weaker enemies. So upping the difficulty would actually be counter productive.
It's not exclusively a top end problem, it's an infinitely scaling invulnerability problem. You can gimp any of the major encounters this way. The trick just becomes optimizing the speed you take down your opponent.I'm not sure how much of a top end problem this is as I haven't tested at which point it becomes a problem. Droid seems to be very much a 'no player left behind' sort. This means he wants to be sure players can win fights and continue the story, regardless of whether they are playing the combat game well, or optimizing stats, etc. Which means a player with 15 STR and 20 CHA needs to beat the same mob another player might fight with 10x those stats at the same difficulty. You always get barrier and always have excalibur equipped/with you. I don't think you need broken stats for this.
If you seriously think I'd report a bug just to brag about my stats in a porn game on an anonymous forum I don't know what to tell you.lol if you think you are overpowered with those stats i can only assume you did not maximize properly! so cute! by the end of the chapter my strenght is over 200 and intelligence is getting there plus swordmanship at ! (save from before the update where you could train every rest in the morning battle) but i did not fight the demon lord so...
FWIW - I just got it on day 72 in the morning.Howdy, I'm having trouble triggering Akane's coffeeshop slice of life event. I've done my darndest. What are the triggers for this event? The walkthrough says day 64+.
It has a relatively narrow window (has to happen after you become close to her, but before she becomes Chosen). Happens between 72 and 92, and won't trigger at night.Howdy, I'm having trouble triggering Akane's coffeeshop slice of life event. I've done my darndest. What are the triggers for this event?
