Personally I liked the story very much. You can argue if all that stuff is very realistic, but let's not forget most VN's on this site are not that realistic either. For me it worked, and I had fun reading the VN with good feelings at the (good) ending.

I must say that the After-story is really needed to have a "close-up" ending. I have read this VN before the after-story was released, and the end did not felt really "finished". There where too much unfinished things left dangling (especially with the father). The after-story gives a good "wrap-up" ending, and gives the story a good decent finish.
