How do you access the preferences menu to turn off the terrible music? Do I have to exit the game, then restart it? I hate this type of uppidty cheery music. I don't just hate it, I abhor it.
Uggh, I want to turn off the voice acting, but I have to exit the game again? lol
That's great having a quest log, but you can't fill it with 3984039849 objectives. Start with one task and let the player do that one task, then show two objectives, let them do 2, then keep at two, then slowly move to three, then once they're familiar with the game, then you can bombard them with 48994849 things to do.
Do the handcuff and whip icons lead to femdom or something? I don't see the female domination tag.
The quest log doesn't actually tell you what the fuck to do, lol. This is what the quest log looks like to me:
"Around you is, air. You need to breathe in air molecule # 98439843984, but first you have to find it somehow. Perhaps you should ask around?"
Quest log says, "Take a shower." That doesn't tell me anything. It should be:
Quest log: "Take a shower. Starting from your room, click Living Room, then Hallway, then Bathroom. "
My god. If the game has a quest log, but someone wrote a walkthrough, you know you fucked up big time with the quest log design and descriptions.

OK lets break this down a bit:
Voice settings:
There is an options menu where you can adjust the voice, sound and music volume. Which is accessible both when you start the game and via the ESC button. So you don't have to quit the game to adjust them. The ESC button is part of the renpy framework where the game is written in.
Handcuffs vs Whip
Handcuffs is male domination, whip is female domination. Quite universaly used in similar games.
Quest log
Is the goal of the quest log to tell you what to do or more a diary that gives some hints? It's a freeroam game the idea is to let the player explore. There is no spoon feeding. Nor is this a game where you click click and suddenly you are a super chad and get all the girls. Each girl has there specific character and background.
Lastly, you are free to not play the game. I guess you are not a fan of RPG's either

No it should not. It should help me remember what to do in general, it should not be assisted care. If I want to be told every click, I'd cut out the middleman and play a kinetic novel which will do those clicks for me.
Again untrue. Many players like walkthroughs, somebody writes them for them. Other players do not like them and ignore them. Even a game like Midlife Crisis, which has no ambiguous decisions at all, just "do you want to do X or do you want to skip it" has a walkthrough.
Notwithstanding that the "walkthrough" also really isn't one but an overview of what will generally happen with the girls because there is a lot of interconnection. And you can go forward in this game the way you want, dozens of options of resolving quests, gazillions of orders in which you can do it, some faster, some slower.
That is the appeal of a sandbox game, you find out stuff yourself and learn from mistakes. You can just explore possibilities and if it doesn't work repair the situation - although it is sometimes impossible. If you don't like it that's fine but then this category of game does not appeal to you and you should skip it (the odd "I have six kinetic novels and can decide on the order of things happening" wrongly labeled as a box notwithstanding).

What's the intruder trigger? I've done everything with minami, had 2 coversations about bree and sasha post threesome (said no and told her on the first one and then yes on the second). "Minami suspects something" with Home Harem - Minami. I can get Samantha to join but I want the complete set first.
Also, for Office Harem, no matter how many times I take Lavish to the restaurant the thing never ticks off.

TL;DR either you say no, or Bree & Samantha both say no.
You WANT a FAIL state when you ask Bree/Samantha.
Then have some fun
Minami should ask the MC if she can be part of the fun *wink*.
You can then either straight up say no, or tell Minami you have to ask the others (Bree/Sasha).
If Sasha or Bree has less then 51 KP and you ask it when they are together it will FAIL
If you ask them invidually and both have less then 51 it will FAIL
If one of them has 50 KP, Bree/Sasha will convince Bree/Sasha (whom ever does not have 51KP),
which you don't want (in this case)
Once you them have fun again *wink* will join without an invitation.

So I think starting a ng+ + caused a break in the system. where are the backup data files located so I can delete them? I'm gonna back em up first though, extract them into a different folder to see if I'm right and if fully wiping it causes me to be unable to start a ng+ file.

(username)/AppData/Roaming/RenPy/LSSB or LoSe or something similar. Plus an absurd string of numbers added to the name.
I'm currently stuck on Samantha. It says "Samantha is worried about our relationship" but I can't figure out the trigger and the wiki doesn't give any information.
