I cannot start from scratch even with saves deleted brngs me to my save needs arestart button

Make sure to close the game fully before trying to open it again. Alternatively, try opening it in a private tab and using the save to disk open to create a a new save. Switch back to non private and load it from disk.

Not sure what I did but, after starting a new game I seem to have hit a bug where I can no longer go to work. When I go to the character goal section it's blank. Unfortunately I can't really think of what I did to cause the issue.

Edit: it seem like the issue might be that when I got to 100% job progress after becoming a dealer, it's getting set to 0% and I'm not starting the next job level

I tested it on the save you provided and it seems to be working fine? I went all the way into the promotion where you get sent to the club after. If there is nothing at Jason's it probably means you already worked that day. Try again and let me know.

For some reason Lydia isn't unlocking at all in my current game and I can't workout at the gym any more. I tried sleeping and even tried using cheats to get my fitness level higher, but nothing seems to have worked (probably should have noticed this before doing almost everything else, but I just assumed it'd unlock after other content)

EDIT: Looks like I glitched over some scenes that were necessary for progress? A restart ended up fixing it.

I assume from your save you used the console not the official cheats? That will absolutely break things like this so I highly recommend against it. If you need further help just ask.

Having an issue where images aren't showing up, using the compressed version.

Missing or wrong renamed. All I can recommend is downlaoding the R9-> R10 patch version and copying the img folder in. Should fix it.

Crap, just read the Lydia thing about the Gym not being available after meeting her. I just finished all the notMom and notAunt paths, and was looking to go to Lydia (cos Peta Jensen, rawr). Does her path intersect with the notFamily at all? Will doing a new save just for her screw up other stuff? I'm terribly vexed by this conundrum.

Characters are only really locked behind reaching a certain progress with Jen. Beyond that it doesn't matter when you start their content You should never get locked out of them, so feel free to tackle them in whatever order you want.

I had the supporters vote on the priority for Lydia's future content (with Krissy being an option) and it was fairly low down. So whatever comes will be a ways away yet. I would like to do some end game party content, in which she would be involved. The other thing to do is visiting her home outside of the party. Which would likely be a small content set by itself. So ideally happening, just not very soon.

All the side stuff just popped up and completely stalled the core game. It’s one thing to set up the characters from the start and build them up as you go, it’s another to essentially bait and switch the players who follow the game for what it was.

I think that's a little harsh. I've been playing this game from the first iteration and I've never felt like the decision to add more characters was a "bait and switch".

It appears you believe the Jen character is the delicious core of the game and I couldn't agree more. Like you I've mentioned my frustrations at the lack of new content for her over the course of the recent development cycle (feel free to go back in the thread to find my comments and MW's answers) but I've never felt the secondary characters didn't have some sort of point in the overall game and they certainly didn't "pop up". Mel was your liaison at the strip club from version 1.0 if I recall, Lydia was always at the gym and became more defined after people complained that they didn't have enough daily energy and Jen mentioned having a sister many updates before Fiona was added (maybe as early as version 2.0, it's hard to remember exactly) she just didn't have a model. If you're talking about Christine or Krissy as examples that wern't there from the start then sure, but both are peripheral and have no defined love/lust content like the others.

The majority of Jen's current content (especially the daily events) have been here since either 3.5 or 4.0, so to say that her content was the entire game for most of development is not true. If you count her story as the main plot then sure, but it's not the entire game by a long shot. How long have you been following the game may I ask?

If you feel the core game has been stalled in favour of extra characters I can see how you might feel that way but MakinWaves has always been very open with their intentions for updates on the game and answering queries on this forum. How much of the content that makes up the current game was initially intended only the dev can answer but after following this game for so long I would always give MW the benefit of the doubt on such things for two reasons: firstly because my queries, no matter how whiny, have always been answered sincerely and secondly because my views, efforts and opinions aren't what made this amazing game.

I can only make judgements based on the info and impressions I get. Just to give a small perspective from my end, I remember at one point believing that interest in Jen had diminished somewhat (probably after the sex content came out). Maybe I am just dumb and making bad assessments, but regardless it certainly isn't as cut and dry as you make it out to be. I got a lot of requests for stuff like the David sub plot, and more porn career scenes. And in turn I made it happen to some degree. These requests are actionable feedback that goes a long way to removing any doubt about what I should be doing.

Regarding side characters popping up. I purposefully chose this approach. To work on characters to some level of completion before moving onto others. Had I not done this, everyone would still be waiting to bang Jen. You can't go deep and wide simultaneously and get it done in a reasonable amount of time.

For some reason vids or gifs, not sure what the scenes are called, are blank. trying to have sex just shows a blank screen with the bars and commands like normal. Anyone else having this issue? I'm using chrome and my old saves.

Very cool game. Developer respect! I really like games where not just a set of random gifs, but about one character. And the story that the game tells very cool emphasizes them. After all, porn gifs without context are not very funny and there are a lot of them on the Internet =) I really hope for cool and big sequels! Thank you!

I can only suggest you may have downloaded the patch version rather than the full version.

Once you get far enough into either job you unlock the ability to go work at the other one as well.

You need to get her arousal just high enough so you can look around in her room. Combine the high and low arousal gain events.

I know nothing about Twine programming, so not sure how much of a pain in the ass that would be to make.

There's no cheat because the system is not there to just screw with the player. Rather to force you to make decisions on what to do each day instead of just going from one event to the next. In the early game at least. It also encourages you to actually go to the meals etc which is useful because I can put important one time things like offering her a modelling job in places like that, knowing the player is likely to see it.

Once you unlock more characters and an additional job etc it becomes largely obsolete. On top of that you can get stamina buffs through the fitness skill. Adding a cheat to bypass the system entirely would mean I should just remove it completely. But then I'd likely have to go back and completely redesign every part of the game where it's relevant. Maybe in the revamp version I'll consider changing how it works.

You can use this to freeze just about any variable in a twine game
