I had the same issue but I had old saves from eons ago so I made a copy of them, deleted save direcotory and tried launching game again. Then it worked.

Save directory is in %AppData%\Godot\app_userdata\Lovecraft Locker- Tentacle Lust, make backup (or not) and trash it. Should work.

But I noticed that after launching the game there is a repair option in the upper right corner. I have no idea if it works, because I managed to delete my saves before launching xD
