How do I get them?

Paul tends to get more tired towards the weekend, you might see him slacking off during lunch break. As for Richard, if you're lucky the day you check the stock, you'll eventually see him there. If you're really pressing for time, you can just back out from that work and do another without committing the full week.

Why are these choices unavailble? According to the latest update and guide they are in the game. I've met the conditions for them to activate several times over and they've never been clickable.

Sorry for the confusion
That is part of the next update, the planning and scaffolding is already done but I forgot to remove the requirements for the choice where tests were done with placeholders.
The guide shows that it's 'available' because content up to 0.3 had already been planned. (happy Dutch noises)
I'm working on changes to make it clearer which content is available and how much is left to finish, should be out after Xmas.
