I am going out on limb here (but not a too long of one) and say probably the "steam version" is going to be missing content of some sort, simply due to the steam rules in using their platform for this type of game.
Some of the rules applied but not limited too against this content type are;
incest
(self expiatory on public store / platform)
depictions of rape
(almost got the Tomb raider reboot pulled for sorta having one but not really, then an update changed the scene altogether)
loli -> as in any depiction of a underage in any sexual situation.
(although seems to be partly and wholly dependent (giving them ears and tail then say they are 100,000 old doesn't always work) on the where, when, who and how its depicted making it tilted in steams favor if you ever get tagged for this content disapproval let alone to even know if you crossed a line with this content)
Drowning
I personally wouldn't use steam for any adult content distribution just cause steam can tagged it X for any and sometimes ridiculous arbitrary reasons.
Steam needs to be overhauled as well as fork for each major content distributaries;
Adult, Adult mods content would require an age check verification via credit card user info as in DOB, just having a CC wouldn't cut it.
Un-like what it is now just having a CC grants whole access to all of steam even if you fail an age check.
Software content would be the same as it is now
Games, Game Mods content would be the same as it is now
Instead of trying to be a one stop shop being regulated by over reaching rules and restrictions that can be applied randomly by one admin then just as easily unapplied by another.

As far as I can tell, mainly the graphics are spruced up some for the Steam version. The story seems to be about the same as it was.

No offense, but the game is called like this for a reason. I mean, you can see his MF face. I don't think the dev intended to him becoming a hero. Maybe however Julia will find out that he's the less MF of all the men she knows. And that's why she will choose him.

I don't want him to do a complete 180 and become a cringe white knight, which, in many cases, is a more polite way of calling a man a spineless simp, like most of those dorks in incest porn games are, but he don't have to be a complete douchebag for 'the plot' either. Something in-between those two would be a good option, at least IMO.
