If this is true, this is not an unofficial port, this thread is BS and should be removed. He is just making gallery mod in RenPy for the original game wich should be in mods part of the forum, porting the game means porting the whole game with same/improved mechanics in sandbox environment. If you just want to see scenes from the game just download Fanmade full animations from original game thread.

If we base ourselves on what you are saying, then all RPGM game ports would also have to go in the mods part, because all those ports do not have the sandbox part and are visual novels. The fanmade animations are just that, animations, here you can see the complete scene with the animations included.

Screw them… there was a massive amount of potential customers that told Super Alex that despite the flaws they liked his game, but wished he would port it to ren’py as the stupidly absurd size of Lucky Mark was insane, 19GB for a dumbass sandbox porn game ? That’s utterly ridiculous. And he told people to go pound sand, that he loved Unity, yet somehow Amnesia is on ren’py ?

Can't speak for the Dev doing it - but for me personally... ABOUT TIME. The original has great characters and art but it's incredibly grindy, has no gallery, and if I remember correctly pretty limited save slots. The 'sandbox' aspect of the original felt more of a chore than a feature I would want as well. Not to mention the amount of "correct" choices you have to make to see some scenes in the original requires a dictionary sized book to keep track of them all.

Well damn. I actually finally sat down and slugged through an entire first time playthrough grind on the original game 2 weeks ago.

It didn't age all that well with it's horrid english translation. I'd of been interested in this to save time.
