There's really no excuse for uncompressed images. There's a little application I use named fileoptimizer which handles that stuff very easily.

The craziest part, in my opinion, is that on top of the general game images being rather large, the dev then tosses in a ton of random actual porn images grabbed from the web and stuffs these into his game. They don't really fit with the rest of the game content being computer generated. There are way, way too many images included for the number of distinct scenes they represent. And they are in very high resolution/uncompressed. It is just a complete waste of data transfer.

I haven't looked into the actual breakdown, but I'd be greatly surprised if those unrelated images were less than 50% of the total file size. I would not be surprised to hear that they accounted for more than 75% of the raw data.

This game is really strange. It's 6 GB huge and yet there is almost no real content in it. The dev should at least consider converting the images to webP.

The translations need some work - I'm a grammar nazi and I gave up on the game after a few minutes of play.

you can look at CG link at 1st page, those are jpeg not webp, so prolly a bit smaller, but it´s 350MB...so I doubt normally compressed webps would go over 1GB...

Version 11.0 total capacity of 5.94GB, no sex scene, it is too ridiculous, too disappointed, no romance at all, it makes no sense when trying to download and participate in the game .
It is an adult game that has no sex scenes, while the total capacity of up to 6GB, so disappointing.

Male protagonists, only teasing and imaginary, then anesthetics, masturbation, no action called love and sex, is worth criticizing.

Hum, if no update (from v10 to v11) available, why not directly create CG's into ".webp" format? That would keep the CG's visual quality identical (quasi-perfect), but reduce a lot their size, so the all game !!!!

I don't think I've grabbed a copy of this game since v7 or so. Not since he greatly increased download size by spending his update adding more porn to the MC's computer.

That said, code doesn't take up Gigs worth of data space. Almost all the weight after the standard renpy core is all from imagery in all of these games. Since there is a CG rip that has been compressed to only 350MB, a properly compressed game should not weigh in at more than 500MB (assuming the CG rip isn't overlooking a lot of things, I don't recall this game having actual movies or some such).
