Sasha's death must have been horrible, because it set a before and after in the perception that the Argleton player should have, It's not gore, just for the sake of being gore

Sasha's story speaks of determinism, and she sacrificed everything to generate change, but she needs Lucky to do his part. She has been preparing you for this moment. She knows what she was going to Argleton for. She is a Supernova and has seen much more than us, because she believes in second chances.

If you're expecting a game like Doki Doki, you won't find it here, I'm looking for an experience closer to the Mother games (although more explicit), but Gretel breaks the fourth wall, because she's above the game, she's Gretel, and we're Hansel, the girls are the sweets and the witch... You have to deduce that for yourselves

The foundations of Argleton are dark, they always have been, it wasn't an unexpected change, it was just more... visceral with this death, and on that basis it became a perfect place, for Winsor, for Lucky and for the Player, a house full of sweets to enjoy.

You're free to enjoy those sweets, that's the idea. The witch wants you to gain weight. But those sweets have souls and feelings, but... are you interested in their well-being? Or do you just want those sweets to eat?

That's where the player must choose, Sasha already chose her path, and it was to trust and break that destiny, that dark cycle bathed in sugar

Each main story deals with a specific theme Sasha is Destiny, Prim is Hope, Maxy is Passion, etc... and it all comes together in Argleton, we are in the final third of Lucky Paradox

And yes, there will be multiple endings, none of which are good or bad, it's up to the player to choose that

tl;dr: skip this wall text, play the game and have fun xD

Your post is fair, but I think you underestimate how much of an impact it has on players who had Sasha as their favorite girl.
I can speak for myself ofc, but if that cyber-girl-thing exploded sure there would have been a lot of "what the fuck now!" but it would surely have passed. If the girl in question is one of your favorites, however, things are different.

I dated 80%-90% of the girls out of completeness/curiosity, not because I had the slightest desire to have an ending with them. I will definitely play the game again, just to know how it could ends because you have done a great job so far, but it's just not the same, that's it.

I understand what you're saying, but as a writer, there's a whole narrative twist to this twist; it wasn't done just for the sake of it.

Sasha played a role in the story (one that will have a huge impact on the narrative here and until the ending).

But the worst thing would be to revive her or "undo" everything that happened. I could bring Sasha back, yes, but that would ruin the entire story I've been working on for years. It would surely damage her whole character and standing in the world, make everything Sasha did meaningless and useless.

It's common in modern stories for everything to be "painless," but it happens in many series, movies, anime, etc. where characters who should have died and made a grand "last battle" are forced into the show and are flanderized and permanently damage, which makes them lose the charm they had in the first place.

I understand that some people may get discouraged and lose interest in what comes next. Personally, I think it's a shame since Sasha's arc isn't complete, but I also can't force the script to go down another path, that would be the worst way to go imo. It's something I've hated about a lot of entertainment products: there are no consequences, there's no value in these kinds of twists. As a viewer, I really hate that.

I enjoy reply to comments like yours, which have substance hahaha

Have a nice weekend!

Awesome, just awesome.

I've always made a bunch of theories of what was gonna happen with the treasure, or even with Sasha herself

I was so fucking tired of games who don't put a single consequence to the acts of the MC or the girls themself

NOW SHE IS THE GOAT

this has to be the best story in a porn game ever, it has consequences, uses the physics applied in our world, the girls actually feel alive and not like a fucking doll there waiting to be fucked. IDK WHY PEOPLE DON'T LIKE THE FUCKING CONSEQUENCES, THAT'S HOW LIFE WORKS, YOU KNOW

I was riding my scooter and I got hit by a speeding Tesla, and the driver ran away while I lay on the road with a broken wrist this year. When Sasha got shot, I rage quit the game, I already have a bad time at the moment. I liked playing this game because of the mystery and positive. Sometimes people play games to escape the real world, in my situation my pain from the wrist, so I will probably have to take a break from the game.

The game doesn't really give the impression of being dark. Look at the main menu screen, the music, the description. I think this is part of the reason why you r getting such a negative reaction to Sasha's death; it is unexpected and seems out of genre. Gretel may break the 4th wall, but what attracted ur player to ur game in the first place? Maybe change some of the first impression messaging away from cherry harem game.

TLDR: Look at the comments. It was definitely unexpected.

If you follow and read the story it was kinda building up to that point. Maybe not how it exactly happened but each new Sasha event gets stranger and stranger where even Sasha herself says she is getting headaches from the glow or that she can't see a future for herself. She mentions supernovas are gone forever once they die and you start noticing her lying to you more and more. So while how it actually happened is still surprising but the foreshadowing and built up is in the story just requires a little bit of reading.

Uh, dude you are dead wrong, this game is dark AF at times. Did you like just speed click through it to whack off, without reading the text or paying attention to what was actually going on?

  • The MC's best friend (Prim) is dying of some horrible illness. To make it more fucked up, it seems this runs in her family and she's not gonna be the first casualty of this issue.
  • There is another LI that switches between 2 different versions of herself - one outgoing and slutty, the other timid and terrified - and she is pretty understandably upset about the whole situation, and worried that the other version is going to completely take over.
  • Something terrible seems to have happened to your brother.
  • There is another LI, who seems to be a little... mentally challenged? And there are suggestions that she is being abused at home / her workplace.
  • The French chick is basically only around because she is running away from her control-freak mother.
  • One of the Pumpkin farm sisters is pretty fucked up because your brother abruptly left and she feels abandoned.
  • Nearly every single character, maybe even every character, appears to be suffering or in a tough situation, if you actually pay attention.

Those are just a few off the top of my head, I haven't even played this one in ages bc I am annoyed as fuck that they keep adding more BS with rando addon characters rather than adding content for the mains (unfortunately the classic milk-it stage in most AVNs these days.) I am sure I am missing/forgetting even more dark shit. And don't break my balls if I got one detail slightly off here or there, it's been at least a year or more since I even touched this one. But the point is - as someone who actually fucking played this, and paid attention - hearing about Sasha dying is not even remotely a shock.

...What fuckin' game did you play?

.......You realize Prim is probably gonna fucking die, right?

Yes, I understand what you mean, but I'll be honest, sometimes like you, I've had bad days, very bad days, especially when I had to deal with the death of loved ones, and here I've always felt a lot of hostility, which causes me not to take very seriously 80% of the comments.

I had this twist planned from the beginning, It's not just for free. I want the endings of Lucky Paradox to have a meaning and not just be “Harem ending”, I love writing, and I want everything to take shape, but sometimes so much hostility doesn't help to try new ideas, it's discouraging.
