I played LP for the first time so far....
After reading some of the fantastic reviews, I really wanted to try it out!
From the girls I'm really excited, even if their behavior and personality do not really immediately and always seem comprehensible.
From the lewd content I am unfortunately a little disappointed because for me all the foreplay, as very often lately, just does not come at all or much too short.
In general, I've been sucked in by the story so far, but the MC's attitude really gets on my nerves. If you at least had a real explanation for his behavior, it would only be half as bad.He behaves like a small, defiant child and not like a semi-professional gambler or cheater and gangster. Not even like a young adult....?
In general, the delaying tactics of the personal stories (Not yet, maybe another time... / Now it's not the time...) don't really satisfy me.
Maybe it's just my personal taste, but it cost me some nerves to keep playing. Also the "free" sandbox is anything but really free? Everything is tied to certain events to be able to do anything at all?

Have I simply misunderstood the entire concept?
Maybe someone is so kind and could enlighten me?

As for the MC, i don't know, nothing about him ever struck me as "childish". Yes, there is a disconnect between him being a cheating gambler and him being a nice guy, but the game does give us backstory as to how he entered that life. He's not a gangster, he's not meant to be a shaddy dude.

The Sandbox isn't completely open, as there is an averarching story here that involves every character. But for the most part, you are free to choose what to do and who to engage with.

Then there are secondary girls that are linked to those main stories, this is only optional content.

Then there is another backstory and that happens in parallel, it is the story of Argleton, it is written like an "Encyclopedia" type format or something like that, it is a big puzzle where you have to fit many pieces obtained from all the content, it is complex and strange, it's fun to see how players draw their own conclusions, and this will trigger 3 endings with major consequences.

In a way it is a sandbox, but if you want to know the whole story of Argleton and the sex scenes, you will have to do all the content. It's thought this way to give freedom to ignore girls that are not nice for you, give freedom to progress in the order you want and how you want, and well, I found it fun and makes the player more involved in what is happening, rather than just going on a rail choosing options, although I admit that this format is sometimes very problematic and unorthodox haha

Having now spent many, many hours in Argleton, I am totally fascinated by the mysterious story and the many different characters! I drool after each new part of the "big puzzle"
Not to mention the really great and incredibly attractive women... Actually, I want to keep them all with me!
Waiting completely impatiently for the next update!!!
