Hmm sad, very sad
Checking this out after 4+ years and sadly nothing seems to be added and for some reason so many things annoy me in this game and why am I getting random error in the code, i rollback and it's fine , very weird... Don't get me wrong I loved this game back then but now looking at this after such a long time and seeing barely anything added just (...) or maybe I'm just turning into a giant douche.

and this might be just this version of renpy but the game keeps acting weird, weird performance issues, maybe I have to see some stuff, first shift + g but I think i did change to angle renderer but maybe its my new monitor and 120hz is making an issue here

It it because of the compressed version I am using or are many of the latest scenes/ animations just cheap looking and created loops, staccato-ish? I was kinda surprised because there used to be a pretty high standard in Stawer's/ the game's portfolio.

Compression reduces the quality of the renders that's why it probably is like that for you. The normal version won't be like that

Oooo if you haven't played in over 4 years uh yeah you missed a lot XD tons of content and things have been added since then most importantly the enhanced update a few years ago that completely redid a lot of renders and menus in the game. At that time it was suggested to start a new save because saves prior to 0.6.5 wouldn't be compatible, but the beginning was changed to be faster and you will notice the improvements immediately. So that's probably why you are getting a ton of errors from your old save and I would start a new one and might be good to get refresher on the story XD

I lost my saves (5GB+ 400VNs+), so not the issue here but let's forget it, it doesn't matter... Since I cannot see most of the text, white text on bright images/background and there is no option for text box transparency, I like the change to middle of the bottom from the old default version but I cannot understand why remove that option completely... and please don't tell me to change some file/s... no thanks

I don't have any of the issues you have... font have a black border around it for me and there is nothing in the bottom right of the screen

I fear it's not. I am playing the "full" version of the game now and the mentioned scenes remain horribly (even in regular standards) loops, not fluid. All of these are from last year. I hope this path isn't the one Stawyer chose to stay on because of reasons (lazyness, greed or worse).

Have you given her the leash gift? It can be bought by Alice in the gift shop in Rainor's store on the left side

When you say install the file do you mean the full game or the patch? For the full game try to extract it in an empty folder then when clicking the exe file it might take a second to load
