So, after AGES, instead of continuing where it was interrupted, the dev decided to make a REWORK from the beginning (basically changed the lightning and some text only) and not even up until the previous version was??

dev also cut shit out, which probably helps streamline future content once he gets to it.

I get the frustration of the more rigid people when it comes to lesbian sex. Still, I really, really like the game. I played the new version, and I'm now still replaying the old version. And have an absolute blast. Sure, here and there are some rough edges, but man, the game has some peak content I can't believe I forgot about.
Yea, I'm with you on both those points. Like, the turning bi (the girls don't turn lesbian, they still do like to have sex with the MC, after all) kind of requires some suspension of disbelief, but it IS an adult VN, after all ;)

I just started a new playthrough of the "original" version... First thing I had to do, though, was to go into the source code, and fix (via global search/replace) all instances of "Holly shit!" ... The english expression is spelled with ONE L ffs... :/ Like, it's consistently spelled Holly, all through the game.... :/

Another point that kind of bothers me ... MC tells Melissa on his first day, to not call him boss, because he doesn't like it... and like 90 minutes later, on that same day, he calls Michelle "boss" ... only for her to tell him that she, too, does not like being called that. That makes no sense, at all ... he doesn't like that title, so he wouldn't use it talking to the CEO of the company he just started working for, that day even, either...

(Playing the original, because I disagree with the Dev regarding removal of the IC path (and being able to actually have relations with the (Step-)Mom and (Step-)Sister at the same time, at all, I believe) in the rework ... :censored::devilish:

It's like "I don't like being called boss (or insert any other formality)", but when it comes to your superior you use it until they tell you not to. I think it's outdated now, but it's how it was when/where I grew up.

That's a respect thing, innit? I would tell my subordinates not to call me boss because I internally cringe at that. But I would still call my boss 'boss' until he tells me not to.

Might be an American thing... here, the only person who ever calls anyone "boss" (or "Chef", in German) would be the guy at the Döner Kebab shop, talking to his customers ;)
