I do have control of the original post, but I don't do all the uploading and stuff. So I post the update here, report the post and then the uploaders proliferate it to the other download links and update the patch notes bit.I assume you dont control the actual OP which is why you posted about the new version here. F95 has actually a system in place to make sure, that uploaders etc take care of things the 'right' way.

Reason I mention this is that most of the malware stuff and problems we had around here originated from stuff that wasnt on the front page of games. Users are generally asked to be cautious about downloading from anywhere else than the OP links.

You shouldn't really need one. The choices don't change the overall outcome. They may delay access to certain content, but not deny it altogether. And you cannot max score with all characters. There are choices whereby one choice grants 1 point with character A and 2 with Character B, another choice grants 2 points with B and 1 point with A. So it just isn't possible to max them all out. Most choices that result in points score will give immediate feedback on what the point impact was, so if you are aiming to score max with a certain character you can roll the choice back and choose something else. Zara is the exception, she will be happier the further away from chaotic your choices are, but you won't see for sure how she reacts to your actions until her debriefing scenes.Is there a walkthrough mod? It would help me.
The choices are more about flavour of content, than sending you down different paths. Some content is locked behind aberrant gnosis points, but that's the automatic mechanism to keep the more 'controversial' content hidden from those who make choices that clearly indicate they aren't interested in it.

No, I'm a sadist. In general kink terms I'm a Top, the "active" participant of bondage/SM/humiliation/whatever scenes. I would be the one putting the gag on someone.
And if a scene involves a gag, rather than a safeword, we set up a safe signal, a way to "tap out" if things get too intense..

I dont see a kinetic tag so at SOME point we DO get to make choices right? Determine how this protag evolves? I just got done being introduced to vivian so its still really early but damn this is getting frustrating having zero say in ANY interactions
Selling the item you get from the first cartographer's mission. The money goes to help out with living costs which helps out Sarah. Keeping the item may of course award something else later...
Decisions and stats start being introduced at the end of Chapter 2. Each event/mission has 3-4 decisions that change what happens and award stat points, which in turn will have impacts on progression, options and how certain scenes play out. I do want to make it clear though that this is not a highly variable game with multiple branching paths. There is one overarching plot, as the player you can change the flavour of how that plot plays out, but not the overall outcome. E.g. you win by killing the bad guy, you win by incapacitating the bad guy, you win by bribing the bad guy to your side. You always win, but what that win looks like and what points it gives you vary by your choices. You do have choice over who you romance and whether you engage in some of the fetish content of the game or not (most of which isn't really in it yet).

I appreciate the heads up, I might not keep going. Things like automatically telling me I dont want to bother studying magic piss me off. and Im beginning to find more frustration in this story than enjoyment
I know sex scenes can be tough with ai tools. One thing you might consider trying is using a real video and ai face swap. Could even put filters on it to keep the ai look/feel.

I did do that with most of the Isabella scene. Had to edit the images to remove tattoos and other stuff. The problem is that it still takes time because you have to find actors and actresses that look close enough to you characters that it doesn't look wrong. With all the porn that there is available out there you would think that would be easy, but its actually really difficult. Hair length and colour, breast size, body shape, pubic hair, what clothes they may or may not be wearing during the scene, piercings and jewellery etc.
What I've found tends to work better (and it's far from perfect) is giving the image generator a porn image of more or less what you want and then using that as the basis for a fresh image generation. The AI will attempt to generate a similar image, based on the parameters you give it. Most of Emelia's scenes were done this way (some were just completely AI generated from scratch). The problem with this method is the AI often gets confused and generates a mutated warped monstrosity, or if the faces are too close together, when it goes in to redraw the faces to make them look like the characters, it does them one at a time. It draws a box around the face and then redraws what is in that box. It does it one face at a time. When faces are close together, the boxes will overlap and the last box will mess up the face in the first box. I did learn there are some settings to reduce this for the image at the end of the new content in the hotel room with Alice. That makes it less severe of a problem, but it's still an issue.
I have toyed with the idea of using close-ups for more active sex scenes, as FramePack just doesn't seem to be able to more than very basic movements when it comes to sex. So I might use some realporn in the future for more... active... scenes as part of the overall thing. I've been trying to avoid it though because it feels like cheating to me.
There is a new version released that fixes some minor bugs - it's not critical, it's just stuff I have noticed or had reported since the release of 0.41 that I didn't want to leave until the next main update to fix.

Fixed a small piece of variable content that wasn't firing at the end of the academy event when reading the newspaper. It was only displaying the chaos variant, but your reaction to viewing the newspaper should vary depending on what choice you made during the fight in the alley.
Fixed 2 images that weren't displaying the right versions. I had left in older versions of the assets and they were being displayed instead of the newer ones. Same image, just without some of the manual editing needed to make it consistent.
Fixed a mis-named sound effect that wasn't playing.
Various spelling fixes.
The android version will go up later today:

I enjoyed the story in v.41. I found it very compelling. The short movement animations looked great for the most part. Here is a short list of typos/misspellings and incorrect word usages I noticed:
