If anyone is facing the lag issues with this game, you can fix it by following the below steps.

STEP 1: Download nwjs (normal one)

You must be registered to see the links

and extract the zip file

STEP 2: Go to the game folder and copy the "www" folder and "package.json".

STEP 3: Paste them into the extracted nwjs folder.

STEP 4: Edit the line in "package.json" using "Notepad++" as follows
"name": "nwjs"

STEP 5: Open "nw.exe" and you will see that the lag will be gone or reduced

Give this man a medal. Completely fixed the lag for me.

in img/system : windows3, Shadow1 and 2
in img/standPicture/chara_2/normal : noArmor_dead_base, full_Armor_dead_base and breakArmor_ base.png

I tried to re-extract img from the game, but didn't work

Read through the last few pages of the thread. You have the version from OP. The MTL in OP horrifically breaks the game in many ways. Its also from a much earlier version with less content and fewer vanilla bugfixes.

The last few pages are from people putting together a much higher quality MTL on the most recent version. It's only missing translations for the SNS messages, which are being worked on.

I'm having this issue, too, i'm sad to report. Downloaded the latest everything and patched it, but "failed to load" VNButtons.png is the hardlock for me now.

You have to line up with the torch and toss the flame, that one has the throw spots one longer than the other if I remember correctly.

The OP has been updated and the translation is complete.

Things I didn't translate.
* SNS Messages. Too much of a hassle. (I recommend you use Google Translate App OCR if you wanna read them)
* Enemy Names (Translating these breaks combat and the names are tied to image filenames meaning you have to edit the name of every single enemy file if you wanted this to work.

Otherwise everything else is translated and there should be no issues understanding anything.

I'll attach the SNS image files if someone else wants to TL them.

Start of the story is ridiculous. Everyone knows that Good Debt Collector is a Dead Debt Collector.
Those japanese might wanna travel around the world and rethink that Yakuza is NOT in every nation.

IMHO, japanese stories are capable of mass murders (akame ga kill) but not here, when it is NTR its forbidden.
